When Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes resurfaced last month, one of the things we heard is that the game will include an adventure mode. We now have a few details as to what that will entail.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes was shown off for the first time this month at GDC. But Grasshopper Manufacture will be back next week at PAX, and actually has a new build planned.

Famitsu got an early look at the latest demo version during a live stream this week. The footage, posted below, depicts new moves, new effects, improved environments and camera angles, new items, item placement, dialogue, and the second phase of the boss fight.

At GDC this week, GamesRadar caught up with Suda51 for an interview. Suda51 spoke about Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, including DLC as well as the game’s top-down perspective and how that affects the feel of violence. He also weighed in on Switch being a home for indie titles.

A few days ago, Ryouna was added to Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura as a new DLC character. You can see see some footage in the video below.

The costumes appear to be a free download for those not interested in Ryouna. The items bundle costs 400 yen separately.


Original: Ryouna is joining Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura as the game’s next character DLC, a listing on the Japanese Switch eShop reveals. Pricing is set at 1,000 yen.

Ryouna should be available shortly, as the release date is listed for February 26. New costumes / items are being offered as well. We have screenshots of Ryouna and the costumes below (note: a NSFW warning should apply here).

Aside from Nintendo, a few other companies reported their financial results this week. We have updates from Konami and Marvelous, both of which commented on the performance of its Switch games.

In its report, Konami states that Super Bomberman R and another one of its titles “continued to enjoy stable performance”. The company goes on to say later that the game “continued to perform well.”

As for Marvelous, the company is pleased with sales of Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star and Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura. The same goes for Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns+.
