Nintendo Direct

E3 will be opening up its doors very soon, but before the expo officially begins, Nintendo is closing out this week’s round of presentations with a Nintendo Direct. The show starts at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe. You can watch the Nintendo Direct live below.

Super Smash Bros. for Switch is obviously a sure thing here. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed any other titles, but possibilities include Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eeevee, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, Metroid Prime 4, and others.

We’ll also have a live blog going below, which I’ll be passing over to Josh if all goes well. New announcements will be added to the site as they come in, with full coverage to follow the rest of the day and through Thursday.

Today’s Nintendo Direct will be kicking off in an hour from now. The presentation is expected to begin at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe.

The new Nintendo Direct will cover Mario Tennis Aces as well as other games for both Switch and 3DS. The presentation should last about 30 minutes.

We have all three live streams (North America, Europe, Japan) below. If all goes well, Dennis will also be handling our live blog below. Expect new posts on the site as the big announcements are made. Enjoy the Nintendo Direct!

When Nintendo holds its big presentations, Nintendo NY often lets the fans stop by and watch them live. That will once again be the case with today’s Nintendo Direct.

If you happen to be near the store in the New York City area, head up to the second floor at 5 PM. You’ll then be able to view the Nintendo Direct with other fans as the broadcast happens.

By far the biggest news of the day was the announcement of tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct. Nintendo confirmed that Mario Tennis Aces will be shown, along with other titles for both Switch and 3DS. That’s about all we know at present.

PlatinumGames’ Hideki Kamiya actually retweeted the news from Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter account. That may lead some to believe that we could see something such as a port of The Wonderful 101 tomorrow or news about Bayonetta 3, though there’s certainly the possibility that fans are looking into this too much.

Nintendo will hold a new Nintendo Direct presentation tomorrow, the company has just announced.

The presentation will air at the following times:

– 2 PM PT
– 5 PM ET
– 10 PM in the UK
– 11 PM in Europe

Nintendo says that that the presentation will be about 30 minutes long, offering the latest information on both Switch and 3DS. Expect news on Mario Tennis Aces and more.

After a crazy week of anticipation and trolling relating to a possible Nintendo Direct, a presentation dropped out of thin air on Thursday. It wasn’t as big as some past presentations – no surprise there given the addition of “mini” in the name – but there were still some surprises.

Switch received all of the love this time around. Highlights included Dark Souls: Remastered, Mario Tennis Aces, The World Ends with You: Final Remix, and SNK Heroines ~Tag Team Frenzy~. We also now know that Hyrule Warriors, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and Ys VIII are all coming to Switch. New updates and DLC were announced for Super Mario Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and Pokken Tournament DX were revealed as well. Finally, Kirby Star Allies, Fe, and Celeste were all dated.

What do you make of this week’s Nintendo Direct Mini? Were you pleased or disappointed with anything shown (or something that was absent)? Do you have a favorite announcement? Let us know in the comments below.

Speculation has pointed to a possible Nintendo Direct on this very day. Nintendo has delivered on that front, but perhaps not in the way that was originally expected. A new Nintendo Direct Mini has just been released, and you can watch it in full below.

At this point, it’s safe to say that there’s going to be a Nintendo Direct this month. An EA leak pointed to it. Amazon put up over a dozen placeholder listings yesterday before promptly taking them down. And it’s no secret that Nintendo’s lineup for this year is mostly a mystery.

The full Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct is now online for those who couldn’t catch today’s presentation live. You can watch the whole thing below.
