For Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon, Tomy created a new Z-Power Ring Set. The real life toy is compatible with both versions of the game as well as the original titles from last year.

A new listing from Amazon contains new information about the Z-Power Ring Set:

Following the news from Japan earlier today, we have an official update about Mimikyu’s new Z-Move in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Move. The creature will be able to perform “Let’s Snuggle Together”.

Here’s an overview:

“Now, in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, Mimikyu will have a Fairy-type Z-Move, Let’s Snuggle Forever, if Mimikyu knows the move Play Rough and is given a piece of the Z-Crystal Mimikium Z to hold. Up until now, Mimikyu’s Play Rough could only be powered up into the Z-Move Twinkle Tackle if Mimikyu was holding a piece of Fairium Z. Thanks to the addition of the new Mimikium Z, the Let’s Snuggle Forever Z-Move that can also be unleashed in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon is very powerful and even outshines Twinkle Tackle.”

The Japanese Pokemon Twitter account has released some new Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon footage. The video shows the player atop Lunala, riding through Ultra Space. Unfortunately the video doesn’t show the player go into any of the Ultra Wormholes that appear, so we’ll have to wait until the games will be released next week to find out which Ultra Beasts are hiding behind which Wormholes.

A number of global missions were held for Pokemon Sun/Moon when the 3DS games originally dropped last year. Unsurprisingly, these events are returning for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon. Details about the first assignment were published today.

The debut global mission for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon is for all Trainers to collectively catch 10,000,000 Pokemon by November 28. Assuming the goal is reached, every participant will receive 2,000 Festival Coins. A participation reward of 1,000 Festival Coins will also be handed out even if the goal isn’t reached. Note that those who have registered their game at the Pokemon Global Link by the end of the global mission will receive double the number of Festival Coins.
