XSEED has pulled back the curtain on a new pre-order bonus for Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. If you reserve the game, you’ll receive the 3.5-inch capybara pocket plushie pictured above. Select retailers will be carrying the bonus.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns launches in North America early next year. Take a look at some capybara screenshots below.

In related news, the original Story of Seasons and Rune Factory 4 have been permanently reduced to $30. The two games have sold over 150,000 copies and 200,000 units in North America respectively.

Update (10/2): Super Mario Maker for 3DS is now up for pre-order on Amazon Canada; also now has a 20% discount like the U.S.

Original (9/26): All major retailers are now properly taking pre-orders for Super Mario Maker on 3DS. Amazon just started reservations officially today, and can be had for 20 perent off with Prime. It’s also up at Best Buy (with 20 percent GCU discount) and GameStop.

Update: Bumped to the top. The Gold Mario amiibo is now available at Best Buy as well. Ness is up as well. We’re also hearing that Lucina is exclusive.

We’ve been hearing talk about a potential amiibo restock over the past few weeks, but now we have confirmation that it’s actually happening. Best Buy has started taking pre-orders for some amiibo that will be returning starting next month.

New figmas based on the Twilight Princess versions of Link and Zelda are on the way, and pre-orders are now open. Play-Asia and Good Smile both are accepting reservations as of today.

GameStop is offering an exclusive pre-order bonus for Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice. If you reserve it at the retailer, you’ll receive the poster pictured above. The offer is valid both online and in-store.

Those who pre-order or pick up Sonic Boom upon release will also be entitled to the “Launch Edition”. The package includes three episodes of the Sonic Boom animated series on a bonus DVD.
