You may recall that after Sonic Colors: Ultimate was announced a few months ago, we shared a comparison video. That was really meant to show how the art style has changed in Ultimate compared to the original game.

Now that folks are starting to get their hands on Sonic Colors: Ultimate, we have a second video comparison. GameXplain captured some footage that shows off the Wii, Switch, and PS4 versions together. Not only do we get to compare things from a visual perspective, but load times as well.

SEGA has announced that it will release a two disc soundtrack for Sonic Colors: Ultimate in Japan. It’s slated for September 29.

If you’ve been wondering how Sonic Colors: Ultimate holds up on Switch from a gameplay perspective, we’ve got you covered. We have an early look at the title and recorded a bunch of footage from the final product.

SEGA has put out plenty of trailers and screenshots from Sonic Colors: Ultimate, but we haven’t really had a chance to see the Switch version in action. This is still ultimately a Wii game, though the Switch version has been locked to 30 frames per second rather than 60 FPS on other platforms. If you’re curious to see how Sonic Colors: Ultimate looks on Nintendo’s console, check out the gameplay below – we have about 15 minutes of footage.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate

SEGA is preparing for the upcoming launch of Sonic Colors: Ultimate by sharing some music. This time around, we have the remixed track for vs. Asteroid Coaster Act 3, which was handled by Kenichi Tokoi.

Monkey Ball suezo

Monster Rancher’s Suezo will be playable in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania as one of the game’s many characters, it’s been announced. It will be available as post-launch DLC. Koei Tecmo teamed up with SEGA for the collaboration.

Today’s announcement follows the news that Hello Kitty will be joining the game as well.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty is joining Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania as a playable character, it’s been announced. This is the first character to be appearing outside of the SEGA family.

Here’s an official overview with a bit of additional information:

Two new features are heading to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania in the form of Reverse Mode and Dark Banana Mode.

In Reverse Mode, players will find that the starting point and Goal have been swapped. A selection of ten stages will be included here. The mode can be unlocked for free just by playing through the game normally.

Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps part 2

SEGA has just gone live with the second part of the Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps two-episode cartoon. The web series was made to tie in with the upcoming launch of Sonic Colors: Ultimate. Fans are also introduced to the new Jade Wisp, and it welcomes the return of Sonic, Tails and the notorious Dr. Eggman from the Sonic Colors universe.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania mini games

It’s been a busy time for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania at Gamescom 2021, and in celebration of the show, SEGA has now provided first-look gameplay at all twelve mini games. Each of the core six members in the monkey gang – AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon, Baby, Doctor, and YanYan – will be playable here.

The full list of mini games is as follows:

Morgana from Persona 5 is coming to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, SEGA announced during Gamescom: Opening Night Live today. The cunning and courageous member of the Phantom Thieves will be made available as post-launch DLC on November 2. It’ll set you back $4.99.

Players can use Morgana in every main game mode. In place of bananas, chests will show up in stages.
