Bat Boy release date set for May, new trailer

Bat Boy, the 8-bit platformer from X Plus and Sonzai Games, has just been given a release date. The two sides have confirmed it’s heading to Switch on May 25, 2023.
We originally reported on Bat Boy in 2021. The project was initially planned for 2022.

Super Sami Roll getting a physical release on Switch

Limited Run Games will be offering a physical version of Super Sami Roll on Switch, the company has announced.
As another title in its distribution line, there’ll only be a standard release – no special edition. However, a soundtrack bundle will be up for grabs.

Super Sami Roll reaching Switch next week

Back in August, publisher X Plus and developer Sonzai Games announced that the 3D platformer Super Sami Roll would be heading to Switch. The title is now just a few days away. According to an eShop listing, you’ll be able to pick it up next week.
Super Sami Roll does have a story, and it begins with the wicked Albert VII kidnapping Sami’s friend Vera. To save her, players will need to explore the game’s colorful 3D world and uncover secrets by rolling, grappling, and jumping. Various locations are included such as green fields, deserts pyramids, oozing volcanoes, frigid ice lands, and more.

Sonzai Games has announced that Super Sami Roll, “a colorful 3D platformer with rolling physics based movement”, is on the way to Switch. A release window has not yet been announced.
