Super Mario Run is hosting its latest event, the Gold Goomba Lite. It’s a version of the Gold Goombas event in which you have an easier chance to obtain certain in-game rewards.

You can participate by defeating Gold Goombas in World Tour. Look for Gold Goombas with an icon next to them in certain courses.

The latest Super Mario Run event lasts until December 13.

DeNA, Nintendo’s mobile partner, held its own financial results briefing last week. Naturally, a Q&A session was a part of the proceedings. An official translation of the full event has now been posted online.

As for what was covered, DeNA was asked about the early response to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Super Mario Run’s downloads, and more. We’ve posted the relevant Nintendo excerpts below.

A new Super Mario Odyssey event has kicked off in Super Mario Run. Crossover items are on sale, featuring Mario and the rest of the gang in wedding attire as well as Pauline. They’ll be distributed as log-in bonuses over the next few weeks.

Additionally, items from the previous Super Mario Odyssey collaboration has returned. Cappy can be purchased at the in-game shop for a limited time.

Here’s the full lineup of goodies:

A new Super Mario Run update has gone live on iOS. As far as we’re aware, it is not available on Android.

One part of the update makes adjustments so that Super Mario Run properly fits the iPhone X screen. Nintendo also fixed these two issues:

– An issue where players could not perfectly clear a course has been resolved.
– An issue where some items did not appear in the Notebook has been resolved.

If you have Super Mario Run on iOS, version 3.0.6 can be downloaded now.

A new Super Mario Odyssey event should be starting soon in Super Mario Run. In the mobile game, when accessing the “Buildings and Decorations” section, a number of items can be seen.

They include the following:

– Cappy statue
– Captured Goomba statue
– Captured Hammer Bro statue
– Captured Chain Chomp statue
– Mario white tux statue
– Pauline statue
– Bowser tux statue
– Princess Peach wedding dress statue

There doesn’t appear to be any way to obtain these items at present. That should change when the Super Mario Odyssey event begins.

Last week, Nintendo started a retweet event for Super Mario Run. The global promotion was for North America, Europe, and Japan.

Depending on the amount of retweets, different Daisy Statues would be made available in the game. For 5,000 retweets, a standard statue would be provided to players. 10,000 retweets meant Nintendo would hand out a gold version.

Both goals were reached, meaning Gold Daisy Statue is the top prize. Players should find it waiting for them right now.
