Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the game that keeps giving. More than a year following the game’s launch, fans continue to find secrets.

One such secret was shared by player kamuilyn a few hours ago. There’s something going on with the Trial of the Sword that some may not have been aware of previously.

Later this week, PowerA will be releasing collector pins for Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The pins, licensed by Nintendo, are comprised of ten different symbols, weapons, and Divine Beasts.

Pins will be sold in blind boxes with one randomly selected pins. Amazon shows that they’ll be available starting on April 20.

A few weeks ago, Famitsu did something rather interesting and out of the norm for the magazine. A questionnaire was sent out to overseas fans – as opposed to readers in Japan – and asked them to share some information about their favorite Japanese games. The results were published in the latest issue this week.

As for the rankings, below are the top 20:

This week’s episode of Nintendo Minute has gone live. In today’s video, Kit and Krysta rank the characters from Zelda: Breath of the Wild in a bracket. Watch the full video below.

At least for now, Linkle only exists in the world of Hyrule Warriors. But now fans have brought the character over to Zelda: Breath of the Wild through a new mod in the Wii U version.

Dario Rolle, who made the mod, makes it so Linkle is reskinned as Link. Aside from looking different, facial animations and light voice acting have been added.

You can see Linkle in action below.

Original: Following Xenoblade Chronicles 2 earlier this week, Nintendo announced today that they will also release the official soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in Japan. Releasing on April 25, it will come in two version: a first print limited edition and a standard edition.

The limited edition, which will cost 7,000 yen, pictured above, comes with the following:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has reached a new milestone in Japan. Between both Switch and Wii U, sales have surpassed one million units.

Breath of the Wild has sold 871,528 copies on Switch. Wii U accounts for another 133,024 units. Of course, the game has been sold digitally as well, though we don’t have a specific number in that area.

In Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the weather and environment around you are more important than ever before. Link goes up against some tough conditions, ranging from the blazing heat to frigid temperatures depending on your location. The weather is also a key element when scaling mountains. When it starts raining, you can bet that climbing will become much more difficult.

Giving players control of the weather was actually something the Zelda: Breath of the Wild team considered, according to Hidemaro Fujibayashi. The game’s director explained to Game Informer this month why it ultimately didn’t make sense in the end: it wouldn’t have been as fun and “would have increased the number of variables in the world.”
