Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition isn’t exactly a well-kept secret at this point. The game has seen a couple of leaks, and now Amazon Germany has further stirred the pot. If you needed any additional evidence that THQ Nordic is planning an announcement, we now have the game’s boxart above.

Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition should be available on August 6. It can be pre-ordered on Amazon Germany here.

Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition

Last month, a listing for Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition was spotted on EB Games Canada. There’s now additional proof about the port happening thanks to a listing from Koch Media.

THQ Nordic acquired Koch Media last February. On Koch’s distribution website, a listing for Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition has appeared on Switch with an August 6 release date. The distribution page further lends credence to the idea of a physical release, which would make sense given that the original Darksiders was also sold for Switch at retail.

We imagine that THQ Nordic will have something official to say about Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition in the near future.

Biomutant

If a listing on EB Games Canada is to be believed, Biomutant could be heading to Switch. The retailer recently put up a listing that suggests the “open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG” will be making its way to the console.

Here’s an official overview for Biomutant, along with a trailer:

Darksiders Warmastered Edition made its way to Switch last month. Based on a new retailer listing, its sequel may not be too far behind.

EB Games Canada has listed Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition for Switch, possibly leaking the title in the process. It’s listed for an August 30 launch.

The third-person shooter Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered Edition is coming to Switch, THQ Nordic announced today. Kaiko is handling the port.

Here’s an overview, along with the debut trailer:

Darksiders Warmastered Edition recently made its way to Switch. It’s a particularly interesting port, as the game has a number of technical options players can enable/disable. Digital Foundry takes a closer look at it all in its latest analysis today.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition lets you choose between “High Quality and “High Performance”. When playing docked, the former option has 30 frames per second at a 1080p resolution while the latter has an unlocked frame rate and a resolution of 1440×810. When playing in handheld mode, High Quality runs at 720p while those who have the High Performance option enabled will have the action reduced to 540p.

On Tuesday, Darksiders Warmastered Edition Switch will be launching physically and digitally for Switch. Get a look at how the game holds up on the system with the following footage:

Darksiders Warmastered Edition

Fire Emblem Warriors is one Switch game that lets you choose between two technical modes. One favors frame rate while the other emphasizes resolution. This isn’t something we’ve seen with many Switch titles, but Darksiders Warmastered Edition is another game that makes use of similar functionality.

While playing Darksiders Warmastered Edition, you can choose between High Quality and High Performance modes. The former uses a 720p / 1080p native resolution and hovers around 25 – 30 frames per second. If you go with High Performance mode instead, the resolution will be lower but the frame rate jumps up to 50 – 60 FPS.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition launches for Switch on April 2.
