Earlier this year, ININ Games announced that Hidden Through Time, which originally released on Switch eShop back in March 2020 and has since been expanded upon with multiple DLC, would be getting a physical release on Switch as Hidden Through Time: Definitive Edition, and would include all of its DLC. For European countries this is now available to purchase from their website, and the publisher have shared a launch trailer to commemorate the occasion.

Original (5/26): Astronite will be launching on Switch this October, Funstock and JanduSoft have announced. The game is a Metroidvania which focuses on classical elements inherent to the genre, including exploring different zones to acquire powerups, finding hidden secrets, and facing off against big bosses. A physical release of the game will also be available.

It has been announced that Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Japan will be able to try Coffee Takj for free as part of the latest Switch Online Game Trial. Like other Switch Online Game Trials, players who hold a Nintendo Switch Online subscription will be able to play the entirety of the game’s content for the duration of the trial, which is scheduled to go live on November 21. Capcom have announced a digital event for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will take place on November 16, which will cover content to be released in the upcoming third free title update. The event will take place at 6:OO PST/14:00 GMT, and you can check out the teaser trailer below:

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available now for Switch. The second free title update was released on September 29, and added new monsters such as Flaming Espinas and the Qurious Crafting feature to the game.

Original (2/8): Super Dungeon Maker, which developer FIRECHICK describes as “an adorable 2D pixel art dungeon-crawler-meets-level-designer mash-up”, will launch on Switch later this year.

Drawing inspiration from Super Mario Maker, in Super Dungeon Maker you will design and create pixel art-style dungeons, which you can then share with others online. The game will include a wide variety of levels, enemies, items, and bosses that players can utilise, and will include support for competitive statistics such as completion times and rates for its online community.
