Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Poltchageist location

Following the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet‘s new DLC, we’ve created a guide to help you find out where you can find Poltchageist with its exact location. Remember that the creature just debuted in The Teal Mask.
What is Poltchageist?
Poltchageist is a Grass/Ghost-type Pokemon. Known as the Matcha Pokemon, it is a new Pokemon introduced for The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask downloadable content.
The Pokedex entry shares the following blurb: “Poltchageist looks like a regional form of Sinistea, but it was recently discovered that the two Pokemon are entirely unrelated.”

You can actually find Poltchageist just outside of Mossui Town, the first location you’ll visit in The Teal Mask. The Pokedex entry states that it lives in bamboo groves, and you can find some bamboo on Reveler’s Road. Simply head across the bridge and out of town and up the hill and you should find the new Pokemon lurking amongst the bamboo.
If you haven’t already, you can pick up Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet on Switch, although you will also need to buy The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC to catch Poltchageist yourself. The official website can be found here.
