The rocket belt from Pilotwings lets you fly upward by jumping. This is a really useful item for characters that have weaker recoveries. By the way, is that cape fireproof?

Today we’ll be continuing our look at the Nintendo Wi-Fi lineage with a focus on Wii titles. The Wii’s online infrastructure surprised us time and time again with what it could (and couldn’t) do, with experiences ranging from the cohesive and fleshed out Mario Kart online to a slideshow crawl through Super Smash Bros. The official Nintendo mini-site for 1001 Spikes was recently updated, dating the game ‘s Wii U release for June 3. Publisher and developer Nicalis Inc. are yet to release an official announcement regarding the date, but this means we could potentially have the game very soon.
