The most recent Nintendo Direct sure had a ton of great announcements, but Sam wanted to take some time to highlight all the phenomenal looking platformers that were shown off in our latest video.

Many great games are on the horizon, highlighted by Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Sonic Superstars. The bizarre reality of a new 2D Mario and Sonic game releasing alongside each other in 2023 is something we can get behind. And speaking of Sonic, we can look forward to Penny’s Big Breakaway from the makers of Sonic Mania early next year.

Just before the latest Nintendo Direct aired, we decided to wrap up all the exciting announcements for Switch this summer prior to the big event.

After a long few days of showcases from companies not named Nintendo, Sam breaks down all the notable announcements from the week including those from the Summer Game Fest, Devolver Digital, Future Games Show, Ubisoft Forward, and Capcom to see which amazing looking games are coming to Nintendo’s platform.

It’s that time again! A brand new Nintendo Direct means its time for Tom and Sam to record their live reactions to all the new announcements, updates, and reveals. There were plenty of surprises along the way.

Eventide Island was one of the best moments in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In this video, Sam dives into what made it such a memorable location, how it represents the philosophy of the game, and how it’s changed to fit Tears of the Kingdom’s new design.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was nothing short of a masterpiece when it came out in 2017, but six years have passed since then and some of the game’s more unpleasant aspects have become more apparent over time.

In our new video, Sam dives into its new sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. We examine how it improves on some of its predecessor’s most controversial aspects.

We’ve put together a new video guide that will tell you about all every location for Korok Seeds on Great Sky Island in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Players start the game in a similar area to Breath of the Wild’s Great Plateau, and right away, there are things to collect. In our video walkthrough, we take you through all Korok Seed locations on the Great Sky Island in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. There are a surprising amount of secrets tucked away in this short opening area. These seeds will help expand your inventory for shields, weapons, and bows by turning them in to Hestu – similar to the previous title – throughout your journey.

With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom right around the corner, we have made a full game walkthrough of the original game for those that want to cross this game off their Zelda backlog. Inspired by the YouTuber Loogaroo’s classic “How to Beat Dragon Warrior… in less than 5 minutes” guide, Tom has made a video in a similar style for The Legend of Zelda on NES.

Switch is home to several incredible beat ’em ups, and we wanted to highlight newer games that exemplify both the immense quality and variety of the classic genre. For those that may be intimated by the genre’s old-school labeling, we think any of these games would be a perfect place to begin your beat ’em up journey.

WayForward’s 2023 remake of Advance Wars 1 and 2 are finally here. Known as Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp, the release is faithful modernization of the original strategy games on Game Boy Advance. While there are slight tweaks to the mechanics, many of the key strategies and exploits remain.
