The full Arc System Works TGS 2025 lineup is as follows:

Dusk Index: Gion is making its way to Nintendo Switch. Publisher Bushiroad have just announced a release date of January 29, 2025, with Japan receiving a physical release.

Dusk Index: Gion is a visual novel developed by Cherrymochi. The title takes place between two ages of Japan, and revolves around a murder case linked between both periods.

Izanagi Games announced Akiba Lost for the Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. The game is slated for 2026, with pre-orders for the Japanese physical editions opening up on September 24, 2025.

Izanagi Games partnered with Nippon TV and Ax-On to bring us the “full-scale live-action game” Akiba Lost. The full motion video game will receive a standard physical edition, as well as a special package box, and the release will have English support, as well as Japanese, traditional Chinese, and simplified Chinese.

Developer Kyoto Entertainment Works has announced Pogo Stadium for Nintendo Switch. The title is set to release for the eShop on September 4, 2025.

In Pogo Stadium, you’ll be duking it out with 3 other players trying to establish your turf. This rhythm meets strategy game has over a hundred stages, and is being published by ruff.

August 20: Ratalaika Games has announced that the SNES classic Psycho Dream will be coming to Nintendo Switch this year. Not only that, but the game will be translated to English for the first time.

Psycho Dream is a side scrolling action adventure game originally released in 1992. It takes place in a bleak future in which people escape reality to live in a virtual one. It is your job to rescue a young girl who has become trapped.

R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos delayed 2025

Granzella has just put out a new trailer for R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos. They have also announced that they will be unveiling release date, pricing, platforms, and other details about the game in September.

R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos will feature remakes of the first two PSP R-Type Tactics games, R-Type Tactics and R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate.  Granzella originally announced R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos for a 2023 launch, but that has been pushed back twice to a 2025 release window.

Nintendo has announced the restructuring Warpstar Inc. to Nintendo Stars Inc. This is in an effort to provide support to films featuring their IP, and possibly bring them to other mediums.

Warpstar Inc. became a consolidated subsidiary of Nintendo earlier this year on April 1, 2025, but was originally formed in 2001. It was responsible for specifically spreading the Kirby IP, and is known for the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! show.


DMM Games and Too Kyo Games has released a new, “Final” trailer for Shuten Order. The title will release for Nintendo Switch on September 5, 2025.

Nintendo has just announced that the Nintendo eShop will be officially going live in Taiwan. The service is expected to launch on September 9, 2025.

Nintendo has been actively pursuing the Taiwanese market as of recent, as they have only established this division in February of this year. In the past couple of months, Nintendo had also opened their first Taiwanese flagship store in the Xinyi district of Taipei. Launching the eShop in this territory seemed like the next logical step.
