BURBANK, Calif. — (September 13, 2012) – Disney Interactive today announced that the highly-anticipated “Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two” video game will be available for Nintendo’s Wii U™ system this holiday season. Wii U players will experience their adventure through Wasteland, an alternate world filled with more than 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions, in HD graphics and enjoy enhanced game features.

Capcom confirms Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for release in March 2013

SAN MATEO, Calif. — September 13, 2012 —Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today confirmed that Monster Hunter™ 3 Ultimate will be launching on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS across Europe and North America in March 2013.
The popular fantasy action franchise Monster Hunter™ is now one of the most iconic gaming series in the world selling over 21 million copies worldwide since the series began in 2004. Players take on the role of a hunter and are sent to explore a settlement within the Monster Hunter universe, completing quests on their journey to seek and slay monsters while improving their skills and earning equipment upgrades. With many challenging monsters and over 200 quests, the latest edition to the series is set to be the most expansive offering to date.

Epic Mickey 2 will be coming to two Nintendo platforms.
The game was previously announced for Wii. Nintendo also confirmed at its New York City Wii U press conference that it will also be making its way to the upcoming console.

Activision just showed a highlight reel of games for Wii U, confirming a number of games for the platform.
007 Legends, Wipeout 3, and Transformers Prime are officially heading to the console. Also reconfirmed is Skylanders Giants, which was previously announced for the system at E3.

Update: Reggie just confirmed at the New York City conference that this is a Wii U exclusive and Nintendo will publish.
A new Bayonetta game has been rumored for ages now. Here’s a surprise – a sequel is in the works, and it’s coming to Wii U. The news was revealed by Satoru Iwata during a Nintendo Direct.

Monolith Soft is indeed making a game for Wii U. Satoru Iwata teased the news during a Japanese Nintendo Direct today. No details were shared, but fans of the studio can look forward to a brand new game from the company.

Nintendo TVii was announced during the Wii U New York City press conference today. This allows you to access TV, movies, and sports content in one convenient place. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Tivo are all supported.
Users will be able to watch content on the GamePad or the TV screen. You can find something to watch by looking at what’s on your channels, DVR, or services such as Netflix.

Earlier today, Nintendo revealed Japanese launch information for Wii U. The company has now followed that up with US-specific details.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime announced November 18 launch date for the console.
Just like Japan, two bundles will be available. The Deluxe set ($349.99) offers 32GB of memory, the console, GamePad, AC adapter, HDMI cable, stands, and Nintendo Land. The Basic set ($299.99) is essentially the 8GB console.
