A new Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation will air on August 25, 2022, Nintendo has announced.
Two games will be featured. Splatoon 3 will have two segments, including a deep-dive into the all-new single-player mode an overview of stages and strategies for the upcoming Splatfest World Premiere demo. We’ll also be seeing a third segment featuring the world premiere of live gameplay for Harvestella from Square Enix.

Investigation game Crime O’Clock planned for Switch

2D firefighting game Nuclear Blaze reaching Switch in 2023

Red Art Games has announced that it’s teaming up with Deepnight Games, and as part of that, Nuclear Blaze will be appearing on Switch. A release is planned for 2023.
Nuclear Blaze was made by Sébastien Bénard, creator of Dead Cells. It’s a 2D firefighting game that kicks off as you investigate and look for survivors, though “the unexpected presence of an unknown military facility might somewhat affect your plans.”

The Game Awards 2022 will be held on December 8, it’s been announced. Once again, the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles will host the proceedings.
The Game Awards will stream for free worldwide across more than 40 different digital video platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok Live. For this year’s show, Best Adaptation will be added as a category to recognize creative work that authentically adapts video game intellectual property to other popular media, including but not limited to theatrical movies, streaming shows, podcasts, novels, and comic books.
