Dexter Stardust gameplay

Dexter Stardust: Adventures in Outer Space , a point-and-click adventure title due out on Switch next month, has received early gameplay. 24 minutes of footage is now available.

Terraria update 4.0.6

Terraria’s major content update Journey’s End finally appeared on Switch last month, and that’s been followed up with another 4.0.6 patch. It comes with the ability to control the sun and moon on the frontend menu, an adjustment to hotbar navigation, and a slew of fixes.

OddBallers

The party game OddBallers will soon be making its way to Switch, publisher Ubisoft and developer Game Swing have announced. It will launch on March 24, 2022.

OddBallers has players dodging, blocking, and throwing items including balls, chickens, and cacti. The core gameplay loop involves going to different arenas, playing and winning minigames, and earning medals. There are three unique environments with over thirty arenas and lots of minigames. Environmental hazards come into play with electric fences, explosive gas tanks, and tennis ball launchers that can be used to take out opponents.

Dawn of the Monsters story

Publisher WayForward and developer 13AM Games have provided more information about Dawn of the Monsters including details about its story as well as another release window update.

The giant-monster beat ’em up title is now confirmed for a March release. It was last said to be on track for the first half of 2022.

Four more classic Humongous Entertainment titles are inbound for Switch, various eShop listings have revealed. Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo, Pajama Sam: No Need to Hide When It’s Dark Outside, Pajama Sam 2: Thunder And Lightning Aren’t So Frightening, and Spy Fox: Dry Cereal are all planned for February 10.

These games follow Putt-Putt Travels Through Time and Freddi Fish 3, which landed on Switch last month.

Koa and the Five Pirates

Chibig has a new 3D puzzle-platformer planned for Switch, as the developer today unveiled Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara. A release is set for this summer.

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara takes place in the world of Summer in Mara, which previously came to Switch. In the game, Koa and her friend Napopo go on a journey to recover the islander’s treasure that’s been stolen by pirates. Players will be “traversing wild islands, dodging cunning traps, and defeating the knarrrrrliest pirate bosses in a loving tribute to the platforming adventures of old.”

Mika and the Witch's Mountain

Chibig, the developer behind Summer in Mara, today unveiled Mika and the Witch’s Mountain. The fantasy coming-of-age adventure title will arrive on Switch later in 2022.
