Hamster has given an early heads up about next week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch, which is Super Dimension Fortress Macross 2. It’s planned for July 10, 2025.
Based on the OVA Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II: Lovers Again, the title is a shooter originally made in 1993. Banpresto was behind the initial release.

A Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2025 will air on July 2, it’s been announced. Fans can tune in at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM in the UK / 9 PM in Europe.
A new My Hero Academia game has been teased for the presentation. Other confirmed games include Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots, -Little Nightmares 3, Patapon 1 + 2 Replay, Shadow Labyrinth, Super Robot Wars Y, Tekken 8, Code Vein 2, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Death Note Killer Within.

Dave the Diver for Nintendo Switch is getting a free upgrade on Switch 2, Mintrocket has announced.
First information about the patch was shared this week to go along with the game’s anniversary. According to Mintrocket, when played on Nintendo Switch 2, there’ll be a higher frame rate. The upgrade is expected to be distributed “in a few months.”
