The Gardens Between

The Gardens Between is making its way to Switch on September 20, The Voxel Agents announced today. Pre-orders on the eShop go live today.

The Gardens Between is an adventure puzzle in which “players manipulate time to guide two best friends through a surreal world of mysterious garden islands”. We have more details and a new trailer below.

Earlier this year, Everspace was announced for Switch. The new Indie Highlights presentation provides an update on the game.

We don’t have an exact release date yet, but Everspace: Stellar Edition will arrive on Switch in December. Here’s a brief overview:

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom

FDG Entertainment has finally set a date for Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. Announced during today’s Indie Highlights presentation, the game will launch on November 6.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom borrows the best elements from the classic Wonder Boy in Monster World series to deliver a fresh, modern platforming adventure filled with shape-shifting gameplay, memorable music and stunning hand-drawn animation.

Two Windjammers announcements were made during today’s Indie Highlights video from Nintendo.

First, Windjammers 2 is on the way, and is coming to Switch. Not much is known at present aside from a 2019 launch, but we do have a trailer below.


Morphies Law

A trio of notable indie titles are launching on Switch today. Morphies Law, Bad North, Prison Architect: Nintendo Switch Edition will all be available through the eShop. This news was revealed during the Indie Highlights video from Nintendo of Europe.


As was rumored earlier today, Nintendo has prepared a new indies-focused presentation for Switch. It might not be a Nintendo Direct, but a few new release dates and titles have been announced.

Super Mario Party

Nintendo has brought along a new playable demo of Super Mario Party to Gamescom, and footage has arrived showing the game off. View an off-screen video below.

Nintendo has posted another update to the Smash Bros. Blog for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time around, we have an introduction to Villager.

Bandai Namco has readied two more Japanese videos for My Hero: One’s Justice. In addition to a 11-minute trailer showing off characters, we also have another commercial. Both videos can be found below.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems will be back very soon with a new Feh Channel broadcast for Fire Emblem Heroes. The Choose Your Legends 2018 Edition presentation will be taking place tomorrow – that’s August 20 in North America and August 21 in Europe.
