The Making of Karateka

Original (7/11): Digital Eclipse announced today that it’s kicking off a new Gold Master Series, and the first entry will be The Making of Karateka. A release is confirmed on Switch for 2023.

Karateka is a 1984 martial arts action game. It was made by Jordan Mechner, the original creator behind Prince of Persia.

Full Void

OutOfTheBit is putting its recent release Full Void on Switch, the developer has announced. It will be available this September – stay tuned for an exact date.

Full Void, a 2D cinematic puzzle platformer that takes place in a dystopian future, features a young teenager who needs to use their skills to defeat a rogue AI that keeps mankind oppressed. Learn more about it in the following overview:

Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star physical

Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star previously had a physical release, but only in Japan. Now, however, Imagineer has teamed up with Solutions 2 Go to extend the same thing to fans in the west. It will be available across the Americas, Europe and Australia on December 5th, 2023.

Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star first launched on Switch last December, with the western release happening only on the eShop this past March. Read more about it below.

Alien Hominid HD

The Behemoth is bringing Alien Hominid HD to Switch, the company just announced. A release window technically hasn’t been provided, but it’s listed for 2023 on Steam.

Alien Hominid first came out just over two decades ago, and previously hit the GameCube. Online leaderboards will be included for the new HD version.

TMNT Shredder's Revenge Dimension Shellshock release date Karai

Original (8/16): A final release date has just been announced for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Dimension Shellshock DLC. On Switch and other platforms, it’s scheduled for August 31, 2023.

That’s not the only news about the DLC today. Also revealed is that Karai of the Foot Clan will be playable.

Ashina: The Red Witch launch trailer

Ratalaika Games and Stranga have shared a launch trailer for Ashina: The Red Witch. The game, an exploration-based story-adventure experience, just came to Switch.

Pokemon Sleep update 1.0.6

Pokemon Sleep has been given a new update, with the app moving up to version 1.0.6.

One of the highlights is that a Good Sleep Day is planned for August 30. Additionally, there’s a new night mode for the loading screen, broadening the conditions to meet a bedtime, and more.

Also, it’s been announced that Pokemon Sleep has reached ten million downloads. Players can obtain 1000 Sleep Points, a Good Camp Ticket, 3 Ingredient Ticket S, and 5 Poke Biscuits to celebrate.

Whateverland

WhisperGames and Caligari Games have announced a final release date for Whateverland on Switch. The game’s launch is slated for September 22, 2023.

Whateverland is a hand-painted point-and-click adventure title. It features a branching dialogue system, non-linear gameplay, different endings, and an in-game turn-based board game.
