SEGA published two new videos for Sonic Forces. Both are attached below, and offer the first direct-feed gameplay of Tag style gameplay as well as a new VS. Metal Sonic remix.

For Tag, the character leading depends on the move used. Sonic leads when boosting while the Hero Character takes over when using its Wispon.

Another Switch game is moving over from Wii U to Switch. As shown in a European eShop listing, The Bridge could be out as early as September 7.

Thanks to a European eShop listing, next week’s NeoGeo game is confirmed. Hamster will be publishing the shooter Zed Blade.

Below is a brief overview:

Zed Blade is a horizontal-scrolling shoot ’em up released by NMK in 1994. With the ability to select aircraft weaponry, you can battle in a way that fits your play style. Join Operation Ragnarok to destroy the giant runaway fortress Yggdrasil.

ACA NeoGeo Zed Blade will be out on August 31. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Eurogamer published a meaty interview with longtime Metroid developer Yoshio Sakamoto. There was plenty of talk about Samus Returns, including the amiibo support and two different hard modes. Sakamoto also weighed in on the series’ future and more. Elsewhere, he also seemed to shoot down recent rumors that the Rhythm Heaven franchise is dead.

Nintendo has announced its plans and lineup for this year’s PAX West. To say that the company has a lot in store would probably be an understatement.

The first highlight concerns playable games. Super Mario Odyssey will be playable, along with NBA 2K18 and Rocket League for the first time. FIFA 18 and Pokken Tournament DX will be on hand as well.
