December 9: Today, BeXide announced that it will release a Nintendo Switch version of The Fox’s Way Home. The game will be available on the system in 2025.

Guilty Gear Strive Queen Dizzy

Guilty Gear Strive will be landing on Nintendo Switch not too long from now, and Arc System Works has now announced that Queen Dizzy will be available on that console in February 2025. The character will be offered as a free update. As of now, we don’t have a specific date.

Queen Dizzy initially released as paid DLC for other platforms back in October. She’s the first character in Season Pass 4, which also features Venom, Unika, and Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

Cat Girl Survivor

Cat Girl Survivor originally landed on mobile, but now it’s making the jump to Nintendo Switch. CFK and Minimum Studio Corp are teaming up on the release, which is slated for 2025.

Cat Girl Survivor is a roguelike shoot ‘em up (bullet hell) game with pixel graphics, and it focuses on survival elements in which players manipulate their cat girl protagonist to defeat endless waves of monsters in order to survive. For the Nintendo Switch version, CFK will improve the character graphics, change the controls, and add new content.

Final Zone

Wolf Team’s classic game Final Zone will soon be making an appearance on Nintendo Switch, an eShop listing reveals. It will launch on January 17, 2025

Final Zone is an isometric shooter that originally debuted in 1990. The Nintendo Switch version comes with a gallery, a jukebox, support for rewind/turbo, and cheats.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Rita's Rewind 1.0.4 update

Over on Nintendo Switch, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind has received a new version 1.0.4.

No new content is included, but this is one players will want to download. Digital Eclipse has been listening to player feedback and has started rolling out refinements – various adjustments and improvements have been implemented.

The full rundown is as follows:

Secret Neighbor + Hello Engineer physical

Retailer listings have popped up for Secret Neighbor + Hello Engineer – otherwise known as The Neighborhood Bundle – for Nintendo Switch. It will be available on February 25, 2025.

Both of these games were previously made available as digital titles. Secret Neighbor hit Nintendo Switch in 2021 while Hello Engineer followed in 2023. We have coverage of the two games here and here respectively.

SoulQuest

SoulQuest, which is being made by SoulBlade Studio and Tomas J Pereyra, will be released on Switch. Launch timing has yet to be decided.

SoulQuest is a hack-and-slash platformer with combat inspired by well-known franchises like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. Those are a couple of hardcore series, but this project features a vibrant pixel art style and a Celtic mythology-based world.

Zelda Wind Waker movie

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie co-writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller have expressed interest in working on a film based on The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

IGN was asking the two about other games the pair would be interested in adapting to the big screen. Casey and Miller brought up that they’re already on board for a film based on It Takes Two, but also mentioned interest in Golden Axe, A Boy and His Blob, and even the 1993 platformer Cool Spot.


Ghost Traveler Adventures in Edo

Success Corporation is working on Ghost Traveler: Adventures in Edo for Nintendo Switch, the company has announced. It will be available sometime in 2025.

Ghost Traveler: Adventures in Edo is a mystery visual novel at its core. You’ll play as a 17-year-old boy who finds himself in a supernatural event and wakes up in Edo period Japan.

Card-en-Ciel update Challenge Battles

Card-en-Ciel, the deckbuilding roguelite JRPG from Inti Creates, is receiving its next major content update with version 1.2.0 today.

This is the second major content update for the game. It includes Challenge Battles, the Parallel Card system, and new quality-of-life features such as selectable Wild Card presets and accessibility options to reduce dexterity gameplay.
