Kicking off a steady stream of free content additions throughout the summer, Splatoon has a new weapon and map: the nostalgia-packed N-Zap ’85 rapid-fire shooter and the Port Mackerel map, both available now. The N-ZAP ’85 is a shooter with excellent ink efficiency and rapid-fire capability. Its attack power isn’t all that, but it’s fabulous at quickly charging up the Echolocator special weapon. Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures previously launched on the North American Wii U eShop in early April. Tomorrow, the 3DS version will be released as well.

That’s according to Nintendo’s website, which added the 3DS listing to its website today. Like the Wii U edition, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures will cost $9.99 on the portable. We haven’t heard about any cross-buy support as of now, but we should be receiving a definitive answer tomorrow.
