NIS America has just announced Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles for Switch. The collection is due out on the console this summer.

These games have never appeared in the west until now. Only the franchise’s debut entry, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, was initially made available in English.

Among Us roadmap 2023

Innersloth shared a bunch of information today about what it has planned for Among Us in 2023 as part of a new roadmap.

The developer said the team wants to make the game “an easier, more intuitive experience” with “multiple updates to the UI and UX (user interface and user experience, respectively)”. There are various other plans as well like the addition of map 5, improved matchmaking, and more.

Innersloth is toying around with other things like new roles and Friends List improvements. However, these aspects are not confirmed for 2023.

Here’s the full rundown from Innersloth:

It was previously announced that Limited Run Games was planning a physical release for RWBY: Arrowfell on Switch, but the company has now shared proper details.

Limited Run Games is going all out with a standard version and a collector’s edition. If you go for the latter, you’ll receive a copy of the game, a challenge coin, poster, the soundtrack, and a Team BRIR acrylic standee (packaged in a box adorned by the rival Huntresses themselves).

Bayonetta Origins pre-order bonus

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is only a couple of months away, and with that in mind we’re starting to hear about pre-order bonuses for the game. We’ll keep this post updated as information on that front is shared in the coming weeks.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon comes just a few months after Bayonetta 3. This title is taking an entirely different approach for the series, however. As the name implies, this is more of an origin story in which players go on a journey to save Cereza’s mother. It has a more colorful, storybook-inspired look with a focus on exploration, combat, and puzzle solving.

Knockout City shut down

Velan Studios announced today that it will shut down Knockout City in just a few months. On June 6, 2023, the servers will be closed and the game will be no longer playable.

Regarding the decision, director Jeremy Russo said it was a “difficult” one to make, “but a necessary and important one for our studio.” An FAQ on the official site further explained that “a lot of our systems supporting long-term player retention are in need of significant changes” which is “virtually impossible to do” as a smaller studio with a limited team size that would also want to introduce new content. “This means stopping development on the Knockout City, and exploring new possibilities in future experiences, whether in Knockout City or a different world,” the FAQ states.
