After experiencing a few, short delays, The Last Story has been dated for North America. It’ll be available on August 14.

Consumers who pre-order the game from Amazon.com, EB Games Canada and GameStop will receive a bonus soundtrack CD featuring seven tracks from the RPG. Each song was composed by Nobuo Uematsu. A photo of the soundtrack is attached above.

Falcom’s Legend of Heroes has mostly been a PlayStation series since its inception. That could be changing soon, however.

A company report on Falcom, picked up on Toyo Keizai’s investor resources site, states “The Kiseki series has been limited to PSP, but starting next term it will be offered on 3DS and a variety of other targets.”

This does appear to be likely. Payment is required to access the page which is why the rumor hasn’t been confirmed just yet.

Nigoro has provided an update on the overseas WiiWare release of La-Mulana. The company is saying that there remains a strong chance that the game will arrive in North America in Europe.

When the title does make it out – which is basically fait accompli at this point – it won’t come with the Hell temple.

Right now the publishing plan is “proceeding smoothly”. Nigoro will share another update “when the release is entirely confirmed.”
