Nakama Game Studio is planning Jamboy: A Jelly‑Cious Hero for Nintendo Switch, the developer confirmed today. The title launches on September 25, 2025. A demo is currently available on the Nintendo eShop.
Jamboy: A Jelly‑Cious Hero is an action platformer featuring a jam-packed hero as its protagonist. After being devoured by a giant, you’ll have to escape from its guts.

July 31: A new graphics comparison video has come in for the newly-revealed Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac.
Bandai Namco is cooking up a remake of the 3D platformer that first launched over two decades ago. The updated graphics serve as the biggest appeal here, as we see various differences with character models, lighting, and more. Pac-Man World 2 follows the remake of the original Pac-Man World Re-Pac that we saw on Nintendo Switch in 2022.

WitchSpring R reveals free DLC The Follower’s Fall [update: release date]

June 26: Free DLC is bound for WitchSpring R in the form of The Follower’s Fall. Existing owner will be able to access it for free via an update in August.
The DLC, which features a few short stories, contains “post-ending stories of the main characters, tales of new warlords, and a new storyline centered on a mysterious follower”. Both Japanese and Korean voiceovers will be available.

Street Fighter 6 reveals second series of amiibo cards

Capcom brought out new amiibo for the launch of Street Fighter 6 on Nintendo Switch 2 a couple of months ago, and now the company is gearing up for the second series of cards.
Retailers in Japan have started putting up listings with initial details. In total, the second series will bring along 38 new cards to the lineup. Eight characters from Year 2 and Year 3 have been added. You can get a look at all of the new cards below.

Nintendo announces “My Mario” series of products, including Switch app

Today, Nintendo unveiled a new “My Mario” series of products targeted at young children. Merchandise will begin to be available on August 26, 2025 at Nintendo Tokyo / Osaka / Kyoto with select items coming elsewhere in 2026.
Nintendo says that this series is something that parents and children can enjoy together. Partner companies will be included in offering products, and more items will be added in the future.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet just started Shiny Wo-Chien distribution for a limited time

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are offering a big limited time reward with a limited time Shiny Wo-Chien distribution.
Only a few days ago, the games wrapped up a Tera Raid Battle with the creature. Players were tasked with collectively defeating Shiny Wo-Chien at least one million times. The final count was over 3.5 million, and because of that, the distribution was unlocked.

Wobbly Life will have a Nintendo Switch physical release, pre-orders open

Following its previous digital launch, a physical release for Wobbly Life on Nintendo Switch is on the way. Retailers will be selling it on September 18, 2025.
While it’ll only have a standard edition, each unit does come with a couple of goodies. Buyers will receive a sticker sheet as well as a map of the island itself.

Heretic + Hexen gets surprise Nintendo Switch release

In celebration of QuakeCon, Heretic + Hexen has just been announced and released on Nintendo Switch.
These classic games originally appeared in 1994 and 1995 respectively. Now id Software and Nightdive have brought them back with tons of new enhancements and even new content. Additions include online cross-platform and local split-screen deathmatch and co-op modes, mod support, and more. The episodes Heretic: Faith Renewed and Hexen: Vestiges of Grandeur are also brand new to the package.

Nintendo files Joy-Con 2 patents for a crank, clickable wheel

Patents aren’t typically a big deal as they don’t always result in tangible products, but we can’t help but share the latest filings that feature Joy-Con 2 attachments for a crank and a clickable wheel.
As pointed out by Nintendo Patents Watch, the first one has a rotary disc, which is tracked by the mouse sensor through a window. There are also two magnets in place that secure the attachment.
