With the Japanese Super Smash Bros. 3DS coming closer, some of the game’s packaging is already starting to appear. There’s not too much to see in the shot above, though it does reveal the game’s file size. It takes up 2.1GB of space on an SD card, which is about 17,300 blocks.

Assets for Mega Slowbro and Mega Audino have been appeared on the official Pokemon Korea website. The two mega evolutions appear to be a feature in the upcoming Generation 3 remakes coming later this year and it looks like the announcement was staged and ready for Gamescom 2014, currently underway in Cologne. A pair of hackers from the UK have allegedly detected a few unused cup icons in Mario Kart 8. At this time, we cannot confirm their validity.

If true though, it’d be interesting to see why they were abandoned. Were they simply images left behind during development? Or could they hint at something more significant such as DLC?
