Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d you steal our garbage?! is apparently getting a Collector’s Edition. While D3Publisher hasn’t confirmed the product, it’s rumored that the following items will be included:

Steelbook packaging decorated like the Enchiridion, a book in the Adventure Time series.
A custom stylus modeled after Finn’s golden sword
An exclusive art book and activity book
A fold-out poster of the Land of Ooo

There’s a tiny bit of talk about the Collector’s Edition being exclusive to GameStop. That hasn’t been confirmed, though, nor has the package itself.

The 3DS has sold over 5 million units sold in the US, according to Nintendo. That statistic is based on data collected by NPD Group.

Other notable updates include:

  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D became the third Nintendo 3DS title to sell more than 1 million units, joining Super Mario 3D Land (2.1 million units sold life to date) and Mario Kart 7 (1.75 million units sold life to date).
  • For the month, two of the top five and nine of the top 25 best-selling software SKUs play on Nintendo platforms.
  • For the second month in a row, Nintendo held a 75 percent market share for portable hardware in the United States.
  • Nintendo sold more than 400,000 total hardware units in June and saw double-digit growth across each of its product lines compared to May. This includes more than 155,000 Nintendo 3DS systems, more than 150,000 units of the Nintendo DS family of systems and nearly 95,000 Wii consoles.

Australia’s classification board, the OFLC, has rated Picross E. The downloadable game came out on the Japanese eShop last year.

Picross E was given a Q2 2012 release quarter several months ago. Maybe this rating is a sign that the title will be available soon?

In case you haven’t heard, Mutant Mudds is officially heading to the PC. There’s a “Grannie Edition” in the works that offers 20 original levels not found in the eShop release.

The question is, will this content be made available to 3DS owners?

Says Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham:

“Many are asking if the 20 new levels in the special ‘Grannie Edition’ of Mudds coming to PC will make their way to the eShop. It’s possible.”
