Ankora: Lost Days release date

Chibig has announced a final release date for the Switch version of Ankora: Lost Days. According to the company, it will be available on September 15, 2022.

Ankora: Lost Days is described as a “cute-as-heck survival adventure” that involves terraforming, crafting, and exploration mechanics. More information can be found below.

Visual novel Aquadine released on Switch today via the eShop, and players interested in getting a preview of the gameplay can check out just over an hour’s worth of footage.

Here’s some more information about the game:

Continuing Pokemon Masters EX’s Three-Year Anniversary Celebration that started a few days ago, new events based around Sinnoh Champion Cynthia have been added to the game. These consist of a new story event, Threads of Strength, and a new Sygna Suit variation of Cynthia that will be joining the new Sync Pairs for Ash and Red.

Dragalia Lost has slowly been winding down after an announcement a few months ago that the game would be shutting down later this year. An end-of-service date for the title has now been confirmed, with Dragalia Lost set to close up shop on November 11, 2022.

This follows the game receiving its final story chapter last month, which concluded the game’s main narrative. Understandably, no new content is planned to release for the title leading up to its end of service.

Fire Emblem Heroes Deirdre Fated Saint

Deirdre: Fated Saint, coming from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, has been announced as the next Legendary Hero for Fire Emblem Heroes.

The character is voiced by Erica Mendez and has art from Haimura Kiyotaka. As for her learnable skills, the lineup includes Spirit Forest Writ, Circlet of Balance, Still Water 4, Atk/Res Tempo 3, and Atk/Res Menace.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass icons Nintendo Switch Online

Original (8/1): A new batch of user icons are being made available for Nintendo Switch Online based on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in celebration of the Booster Course Pass. We have a look at some of the designs that are planned above.

This isn’t the first time that the racer has been a featured title. However, it appears that Nintendo has prepared a fresh set of designs, and the first wave is available now. Additional waves with different designs will be going live each week. You’ll be able to claim Mario Kart 8 Deluxe icons until August 8 at 5:59 PM PT / 8:59 PM ET.

Wii U update 5.5.6

As a small heads up to Wii U owners, Nintendo has just started distribution of a new 5.5.6 firmware update. This goes in line with the version 11.16.0-48 update that also went live on 3DS today.

According to Nintendo’s patch notes, Wii U’s latest firmware involves the following: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.” If you read the patch notes for today’s 3DS update, what’s stated here should look very familiar.

3DS update 11.16.0-48

Nintendo has just released a new firmware update for all 3DS systems, with owners now having access to version 11.16.0-48. Unsurprisingly, there’s not a whole lot here.

Nintendo’s official patch notes state: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

Super Sunny Island

Thanks to a new partnership between Ratalaika Games and lightUP, we’re about to see Super Sunny Island on Switch. It’ll be out in most major regions starting on September 2, 2022.

Most of the time, a trailer is a sneak peek of an audiovisual work – a way in which companies can show us some nice bits from a game or a movie to convince us that they deserve our money. As soon as we get our hands on the final product, we usually don’t go back to trailers considering that they are just a small part of the whole.

However, there are moments in which a trailer can actually be remembered – when it is so well-made that people frequently go back to rewatch it!
