Onitore’s official website has revealed an interesting piece of news about the game. It seems as though players can submit data collected in the experience for use in scientific research.

Here’s how it works: after experiencing “continuous training”, an option will be unlocked to send data to the Tohoku University Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer. You have to actually opt in to make this happen, it’s definitely not mandatory, and personal information is not included in the data.

Players can also exchange content with each other via StreetPass. Performance data will be received and registered as “Demon Training Friends”. Leaderboards are included so that users can compare their stats with family and these new friends.

The voice of Mario has spoken. Charles Martinet is ready to see a sequel to Super Mario Sunshine. What about you folks?

WayForward has had a lot on its plate lately. The studio has been working on Silent Hill: Book of Memories, Double Dragon Neon, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d you steal our garbage?!, and Mighty Switch Force HD. Time to add another game to that list!

Announced today, GameMill Entertainment will publish WayForward’s Hotel Transylvania title – based on the upcoming movie – for the 3DS and DS.

The game adaptation offers lots of locations, puzzles, and boss battles. An official announcement states that it “creates an imaginative and fun way to interact with the movie characters.”

Seeing as how the Hotel Transylvania movie will be ready for September 28, the game will likely be on store shelves around that time.

For the official announcement, head past the break.

Teyon’s downloadable title Crazy Chicken Pirates launches on August 23.  Two versions of the game are planned – one for the eShop and one for DSiWare.

According to Nintendo’s website, Crazy Chicken Pirates “is a point & shoot action game where you take aim at birds as they scurry through the island and plunge bravely into the waves for a desperate counterattack. You only have 90 seconds to complete your raid by slaying pirates and collecting all hidden treasures.”

It features hand-drawn graphics, hidden coins, jewels and skulls, and a high score list.

As far as I can tell, Crazy Chicken Pirates and its 3D counterpart will play the same. The only difference is the 3D visuals found in the eShop release.

Siliconera is reporting that Genius Sonority’s eShop title Denpa Ningen RPG, released on the Japanese store last year, will be localized in English. A demo will be made available prior to the title’s launch overseas. Some time after this, the full game will hit the eShop.

FIFA executive producer David Rutter is willing to discuss Wii U, but only in general terms.

Rutter says the GamePad is “pretty exciting” and feels that his teams could take advantage of the second screen in unique ways.

“It’s pretty exciting actually. I’ve been talking to a bunch of the guys about the games that they’re working on here, and about what they want to do with Wii U or with SmartGlass and stuff like that. And if you look at it from a different perspective, I’m not going to tell you exactly what because it’s kind of competitive advantage, I think there were a few kind of ‘wow, that’s a pretty cool way of looking at it’ moments, so that idea of a second screen, I think it has some really, really big positives”.

Only discussing the console’s potential, Rutter hinted that something such as voice using could work well in FIFA. He added that the Wii U allows for “some really cool things”.

“If you look at FIFA as a game, with Kinect we’ve got the ability to do tactical changes on the fly with our voices, maybe that’s something you could do with that, or maybe you could go a different route, something like Dead Space or any of the other games we’re making, there’s some really cool things you can do with it.”
