Hotel Galactic

Ancient Forge today announced Hotel Galactic, which is coming to multiple platforms including Switch. A release window was not provided.

Hotel Galactic is a cozy management game that takes inspiration from Studio Ghibli’s animated classics. Players will build a tourist destination, oversee and unite their staff, and make new friends along the way.

Publisher Ysbryd Games and developer Brlka are working together on their new title Love Eternal, the two sides announced today. Switch will be getting it in 2025.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance opening movie

Atlus’ string of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance content continues, and this time around, we have a look at the opening movie. The video will play when you first boot up the RPG.

Downward Enhanced trailer

Downward Enhanced came to Switch this week, and we have a new launch trailer for the game. It provides a final look at the first-person open-world parkour based platform adventure.

Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle E3 Miyamoto

Many would say that the official announcement of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will go down as one of the best E3 reveals. There was a lot of skepticism going into the show (and early leaks didn’t help), but Ubisoft quickly eased concerns about these two franchises coming together.

Ubisoft started out its Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle E3 segment by bringing Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto to the stage as a surprise appearance, who talked a bit about the game. He also had some fun with Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot – the two wielded Blasters and put a lighthearted spin on the announcement. That was a good moment, but it was actually something Nintendo was hesitant to do, feeling it should be “more serious” according to Leon Winkler, who’s been running Ubisoft’s E3 shows.

Sonic remastered

The Sonic series has already been remastered a couple of times with Sonic Colors and the upcoming Sonic x Shadow Generations, but it seems that SEGA may not stop there.

Sonic Team’s Takashi Iizuka recently spoke about what could come next in an interview with IGN. He noted that 

Metal Suits

Today, Eggtart announced plans to put Metal Suits: Counter Attack on Switch. Right now the game is targeting a Q4 2024 launch.

Metal Suits is a side-scrolling run-and-gun action game that takes place in the future. You’ll take on the role of Kevin, who was previously a war hero, but time has passed him by and he’s almost lost everything – including most of his body. He’s now reborn as a cyborg and seeking revenge.
