Trombone Champ update 1.21A

Not long after its recent Switch debut, Trombone Champ has now been given a new version 1.21A update. Players should see that reflected on the title screen once installed.

Two new tracks have been added, meaning the Switch version is now in line with the PC and Mac release. A bunch of improvements have also been implemented and a few different bugs have been taken care of.

Cafe Master Story

Yet another Kairosoft game is bound for Switch, as the company has announced Cafe Master Story for the platform. It’s due out on October 5, 2023.

Cafe Master Story is another simulation game in which players can run their own coffee shop. Further details can be found in the following overview:

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft

Today, Netflix unveiled Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft as a new anime series for the streaming service. Legendary is in charge of production in partnership with Crystal Dynamics

Little about the project is known thus far. However, Netflix has put out an initial trailer, which we have below.

1000xResist

Original: Today, publisher Fellow Traveller and developer 1000xResist announced that 1000xResist is in the works for Switch. The hyper-cinematic adventure will be available in 2023.

The premise of the game is that you’re a clone and you worship the last surviving human known as the ALLMOTHER. Your faith is shattered by a dangerous rumor, prompting the main character to phase through time and memory in order to expose a 1,000-year-old lie. 

Eastward Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial

Nintendo has announced the next Switch Online Game Trial in North America, which will be Eastward. Active members can play the game for free between September 27 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET and October 3 at 11:59 PM PT / October 4 at 2:59 AM ET.

This is the full experience here – nothing has been cut. Additionally, any progress can be used in the full version of the game. Also, simply by trying out the trial, you can earn 100 Platinum Points on My Nintendo.

Another Crusade physical

Another Crusade was confirmed for physical release on Switch when the game itself was announced during the summer, but Limited Run Games didn’t provide details at the time. The company has now followed up with actual information.

Another Crusade will be sold standalone on Switch as well as with a Classic Edition. The latter includes a throwback box, double-sided poster, and soundtrack.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf delisting sale

Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf will soon be removed from the Switch eShop – and other digital storefronts – so you won’t have much longer to purchase the game. It will be removed on October 11, 2023 in all regions where it’s currently being sold.

The move ultimately comes down to licensing issues. HeroCraft’s agreement is expiring, hence the move to have the game removed. If you do end up buying it by the removal date, it’ll be yours to keep forever.

Hatch Tales release date

It’s been a long time coming, but Hatch Tales finally has a release date. Today, Atooi revealed in a Kickstarter backer update that the game is launching for Switch on March 28, 2024.

Originally known as Chicken Wiggle Workshop, the project was funded by fans over five years ago. It’s an expanded version of the 3DS platformer that lets players create and share levels. After going through a few different release windows, Chicken Wiggle Workshop received a final release date and it’s now six months away.

Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness release date

Publisher Blowfish Studios and developer Indiesruption have come through with a release date for Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness. On Switch, the game launches on October 17, 2023.

Vlad Circus: Descend into Madness, a 2D pixel-art horror adventure title, was announced for Switch about a year ago. It was previously planned for Q1 2023 before being quietly delayed.

Dinobreak

Today, Dead Drops Studios announced that it’s about to release Dinobreak on Switch. The game is launching on October 4, 2023.

Dinobreak is a 90s-era survival horror game inspired by the likes of Dino Crisis and Resident Evil. It features “a gripping story, accessible difficulty options, three interchangeable camera views (fixed, third-person, and first-person), optional two player local co-op play, tons of unlockables, and a bonus arcade mode”.
