Ufouria The Saga 2

Original (10/24): Sunsoft has confirmed that its upcoming project Ufouria: The Saga 2 will be released on Switch. The game is slated for early 2024.

Ufouria: The Saga 2 is a reboot of the classic 1991 Famicom action game. While it was first made known earlier in the year, platforms weren’t announced at the time.

Persona 5 Strikers sales 2 million

Sales of Persona 5 Strikers have surpassed two million copies, Atlus just announced on its website which also included a thank you to the fans for their support. That number is a worldwide figure across all platforms. 

Persona 5 Strikers, an action RPG made by Omega Force and P-Studio first came to Japan in February 2020. Exactly one year later, Atlus published the game in the west for other regions.


Mortal Kombat 1 November 2023 update

A new November 2023 update has been released for Mortal Kombat 1. The patch notes are in, and are quite lengthy.

The update includes a bunch of gameplay adjustments, balance adjustments for characters, and fixes. Various aspects of the fighter have been touched up including Practice Mode and Invasions.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie Netflix

If you’re looking for another streaming option with The Super Mario Bros. Movie, you’ll be happy to hear that it will be joining Netflix very soon. The platform announced today that it can be seen on its service starting December 3, 2023.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie previously appeared on Peacock. It’s taken a few months for the film to begin reaching some of the other prominent streaming services as a deal prevented it from going elsewhere. You should be able to watch The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Netflix over the next ten months. Expect it to return on Peacock for another four months after that.

Heads Up Phones Down Edition

Previously released on mobile, Heads Up Phones Down Edition has just come to new platforms – including Switch.

This is a new spin on the mobile game that’s been redesigned for the latest devices. It has over 90 decks, including Act It Out, Animals Gone Wild, Blockbuster Movies, Hey Mr. DJ, Accents And Impressions, Food Fight, Adult Supervision, Adult Supervision 2 Even Adultier, and more.

Hogwarts Legacy Magic Awaits

Warner Bros. is gearing up for the new Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy with a new “Magic Awaits” trailer. The video unfortunately doesn’t show gameplay, instead focusing on cinematics and the story.

Original (11/1): Nintendo has just come out with a new overview trailer for Super Mario RPG showing various aspects of the remake. As usual, it’s so far only been published in Japanese, but the English counterpart is likely to follow soon – stay tuned for that.

Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters release date

Idea Factory has passed along a final release date for Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters in North America and Europe. In both regions, it’s slated for January 23, 2024.

Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters previously hit Japan this past August. Idea Factory then announced localization plans in September.

Tavern Talk

Original (10/21): Tavern Talk has proven to be one of the more recently popular visual novels on Kickstarter. In less than a day, it was funded and the project is more than double its €20,000 goal. A Switch stretch goal was also reached, so we’ll be seeing it in 2024.

As for what to expect, Tavern Talk is a D&D inspired visual novel in which players run a tavern in a fantasy world. Drinks that are served can change the customer’s destiny forever while rumors can be turned into heroic quests for patrons.
