Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update 2.3.0

The new update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has just started to go live, and players can begin accessing version 2.3.0.

After installing the update, players can access Wave 4 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC. It includes Yoshi’s Island, Tour Amsterdam Drift, GBA Riverside Park, Wii DK Summit, Tour Bangkok Rush, DS Mario Circuit, GCN Waluigi Stadium, and Tour Singapore Speedway as the latest set of tracks. Additionally, Birdo has been added as a new playable character.

Also included are some small additions, adjustments, and changes as well as various bug fixes. Nintendo mentions improved performance of some characters/vehicle customizations, Golden Mushroom to Custom Items in Renegade Roundup, and more.

Monster Train: First Class physical

Limited Run Games has revealed yet another Switch physical release, this time for Monster Train: First Class.

The boxed title will be provided as part of the company’s distribution line. Only a standard version is planned.

No Man's Sky update 4.13

Another update has been released for No Man’s Sky, and version 4.13 is now live.

Kung Fury: Street Rage physical

Limited Run Games is planning a physical release for Kung Fury: Street Rage – Ultimate Edition on Switch, the company just confirmed.

The title will only be offered standalone – there are no plans for a special edition. However, fans can opt to purchase a bundle containing the official soundtrack.

Two Point Campus School Spirits DLC

Two Point Campus is set to receive new DLC known as School Spirits. Switch players will have access starting March 15, 2023.

The DLC includes the Lifeless Estate, two new courses including two new fully animated classrooms, two new student archetypes, a new Challenge Mode level, and lots of new items. Here’s a ton of additional information:

Bilkins' Folly

Publisher Armor Games Studios and developer Webbysoft today announced that Bilkins’ Folly, the island-hopping narrative adventure about a boy and his puzzle-solving pup, is in the works for Switch. It’ll be out in late 2023.

Call of Duty native Switch

Microsoft has commented further on its plans for Call of Duty for Switch, and has stated its confidence in getting the franchise running natively on the console.

In case you’ve somehow been missing out on the news, Microsoft has been hoping to complete its deal to acquire Activision Blizzard which was announced months ago. However, things haven’t been going smoothly due to concerns about what the merger would mean. Microsoft is continually trying to prove its case, and recently looked to raise some confidence about multiplatform support by finalizing a deal to have Call of Duty games on Nintendo systems for the next ten years – which was just finalized.

Squad 51 vs. The Flying Saucers release date

After it was first announced several years ago, a release date has been announced for the Switch version of Squad 51 vs. The Flying Saucers. It’s due out on March 16, 2023.

Squad 51 vs. The Flying Saucers is a cinematic 2D shoot ’em up game that has players banding together with a group of rebels and claiming extraterrestrial victory. More information can be found in the following overview:

The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie characters

NIS America issued a new trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie that shows off the cast of characters. The game’s adventures follow the stories of Lloyd Bannings, Rean Schwarzer, and the enigmatic “C”. It’s said that the RPG features one of the biggest character rosters yet.

Wargroove 2

Chucklefish, in partnership with Robotality, has announced Wargroove 2, a sequel to its turn-based tactics game. A release window has not yet been shared, but it’ll be on Switch in the future.

Wargroove builds on the 2019 game with new features. One new feature is Conquest, a roguelike single-player game mode with permanent choices. There’ll also be a new story set three years after Queen Mercia and her allies were defeated.
