Video: Pilotwings 64 Switch vs. N64 graphics comparison
Posted on 2 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Switch eShop, Videos | 0 comments
Pilotwings 64 is appearing on Switch in less than a week, and GameXplain has now readied a comparison video to show how the graphics compare to the N64 original.
The biggest takeaway here is that on Switch, the game runs at a mostly smooth 60 frames per second. That’s a big step up from the initial release, which largely ran at 30 FPS (some dips, only menus were 60 FPS). Outside of that, the whole package is in proper HD like other N64 titles on Switch Online. The only slight downside is that the in-game timer looks a bit more wonky due to the increased frame rate.
