Update: Analyst David Gibson has provided specific sales information, including 3DS results:

Nintendo hasn’t shared any sort of official information about the Wii U’s performance in the US last month, but things were far from stellar. Sales of Nintendo’s newest console – combined with the Wii – are said to be under 100,000 units.

That information comes from NeoGAF’s “creamsugar”, who is known for providing accurate NPD leaks.

creamsugar also shared a statistic pertaining to Yoshi’s New Island as well. It sounds like the game’s software sales combined with the special 3DS XL system sold under 160,000 units.

Warner Bros. intends to publish “Scooby Doo & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe: Adventure” on 3DS, according to a listing on GameFly. Konami may have plans to bring Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal World Duel Carnival to the west. A rating for the title popped up on the OFLC yesterday, though the game hasn’t been announced for North America or Europe just yet. Perhaps we’ll be hearing something official from Konami soon?

Nintendo has opened the Japanese website for Mario Golf: World Tour, accessible here. We’ve rounded up information included on the page below.

-126 holes, 10 courses
-1GB storage required (8,192 blocks)
-1-4 players online tournaments
-Confirms DLC
-No download play, 2-4 local play, StreetPass trading of Mii info
-Challenge modes include collection star coins on courses, collecting 100 coins over 3 holes, character matches, beating which will unlock characters
-StreetPass Miis will appear in your Princess Club, allowing you to check their gear and clubs.
-16 characters; Mario, Luigi, Peach, Kamek, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Daisy, Waluigi, Wario, Boo, Red Koopa, Yoshi, Bowser Jr., Toad, Birdo.

Collaboration with American Golf Manufactuerer, Callaway. Callaway Tournament (Details TBA) will be held in-game, online. Participants in the tournament will receive Callaway products such as an X Hot Club, Legacy Black Club, Filly Club and (possibly) other items to use in game.
