Even though Nicalis cancelled its publishing arrangements for the WiiWare version of La-Mulana, the game could still be heading to Europe.

An updated entry was discovered on the European ratings board PEGI, though it has since been removed. Prior to its removal, EnjoyUp was listed as the new publisher for La-Mulana WiiWare.

EnjoyUp responded with a standard “no comment” statement when asked about the situation. Sounds like something could be brewing here…

Mutant Mudds-maker Renegade Kid has announced the North American release date for Bomb Monkey. The puzzle game will be hitting the eShop next Thursday for $4.99.

No word yet on a European launch, but I’m sure Renegade Kid will be doing its best to bring it over as soon as possible.

In interviews we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks, Nintendo has indirectly said that Miiverse won’t be compatible with other social networks. But now Nintendo of Europe’s Laurent Fischer has confirmed outright that it doesn’t work with such sites as Twitter and Facebook.

While speaking about Miiverse, Fischer did say that the system will work on other hardware including mobile phones and laptops.

I don’t know why we’re obsessed with these kinds of Swapnote messages. I guess we get a kick out of seeing official notices from the top executives at Nintendo!

Today’s Nintendo Direct has become a worldwide affair. It’s now confirmed that a unique presentation will be held in Japan, North America, and Europe.

The Japanese presentation begins at 11:00 PM EDT – more information about that here. An hour later, the North American and European events will be shown.

That’s kind of a problem as it’s not easy to watch two events at once! But don’t worry: we’ll be here to cover everything as it happens.

You’ll be able to watch the North American Nintendo Direct here.
