Fire Emblem Heroes announces Veronica and Embla summoning event

Fire Emblem Heroes has revealed Veronica and Embla as its next summoning event. As the name implies, these are the only characters featured, though you’ll also be able to summon previously released 5-star New Heroes, Legendary Heroes, and Mythic Heroes.
Veronica: Princess Rising (voiced by Wendee Lee, art by Kozaki Yusuke) and Embla: God of Closure (voiced by Mayanna Berrin, art by Kozaki Yusuke) will be present. The learnable skills for Veronica include Enclosing Darkness, Enclosure, Atk/Spd Catch 4, S/R Far Trace 3, and Panic Smoke 4. Embla can use Enclosing Claw, Draconic Aura, Atk/Spd Clash 4, Beast Agility 3, and Severance.
Splatoon 3 update announced for November 29 (version 2.0.0), patch notes

Nintendo has announced a massive version 2.0.0 update for Splatoon 3, which is going live on Splatoon 3. This ties in with the upcoming Chill Season 2022.
Chill Season is bringing along lots of content, which has been previously discussed and further mentioned in the patch notes. Outside of that, there are tons of adjustments coming to weapons, ranked (ability to reset your rank), Salmon Run, Splatfests, and more. A truckload of fixes are planned as well.
One thing to keep in mind is that after installing version 2.0.0, you won’t be able to claim any Super Sea Snails from the Pokemon Splatfest. Make sure to claim them before downloading the data.

Original: Nintendo Switch Sports has just gone live with its new version 1.3.0 update.
It goes without saying, but the main highlight is the inclusion of golf as a new sport (you may recall it was planned for the fall before being delayed to this holiday). All modes are supported, and there’s even a Shot Assist option for beginners. It’s also worth mentioning that LAN play is now supported.

Nintendo Switch Online gets Super Mario Odyssey icons once again

Original (10/31): Super Mario Odyssey is once again a featured game for Nintendo Switch Online user icons. The first time this happened was in March, and the title popped up once again with new designs around July.
To kick off November, Seaside Kingdom icons are up for grabs. These include NPCs, shirtless Mario, and more. All icons cost either 5 Platinum Points or 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Also, once again, you need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member.
Humongous Collection Switch physical release revealed

Limited Run Games has revealed a new Switch physical release known as the Humongous Collection.
Six games are included in the package. Fans will receive Pajama Sam: No Need to Hide When It’s Dark Outside, Pajama Sam 2: Thunder And Lightning Aren’t So Frightening, Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell, Putt-Putt Saves The Zoo, Putt-Putt Travels Through Time, and Spy Fox in “Dry Cereal”. All of these are included on a single cartridge.

Lunistice update out now on Switch (version 1.03), patch notes

A new version 1.03 update just went live for Lunistice on Switch.
Today’s patch is a pretty significant one. It comes with new additions, including a Smooth Turning option. Numerous stages have also been rebalanced, bugs have been addressed, and more.

Pokemon GO announces Season 9: Mythical Wishes and more

Niantic has announced December content updates for Pokemon GO, including Season 9 – titled Mythical Wishes. There’s also news about raids, research breakthroughs, and upcoming events.
Season 9: Mythical Wishes starts in Pokemon GO on December 1, 2022, at 10 AM and runs through March 1, 2023, at 10 AM local time. While it’s active, players will see the return of events like Pokemon GO Tour, Winter Holiday, Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day. OddBallers release date set for January

Today, publisher Ubisoft and developer Game Swing announced a release date for OddBallers. We now know it’ll be launching on January 26, 2023 for Switch.
OddBallers, a bombastic party game, was announced for Switch back in February. It was actually planned for release the following month, but it seems that something changed along the way. In any case, we’re now about two months out from the true release.

Ubisoft is developing The Settlers: New Allies for Switch, the company announced today. The game will initially hit PC on February 17, with the launch on Nintendo’s console following later.
The Settlers: New Allies is a real-time strategy title in which players settle onto a new land, build their communities, meet new factions, and choose to welcome them as allies or enemies in order to protect and defend their new settlement. It includes a single-player campaign, hardcore mode, and skirmish mode that supports solo vs. AI, co-op vs. AI, and PvP with up to eight players.
