Arcade space shooter Redout: Space Assault coming to Switch

34BigThings today confirmed that Redout: Space Assault, an arcade space shooter based in the same universe as Redout, is on the way for Switch. A release is planned for January 22, 2021.

Stray Cat Doors originally appeared on Switch in January 2019. Its sequel, aptly named Stray Cat Doors 2, is on the way as well. It will launch in 2021.

Arcade Archives VS. Tennis releasing on Switch this week

VS. Tennis, which first released in 1984, is about to join the Arcade Archives series. Hamster has announced a worldwide release on Switch for December 18.
You pretty much know what you’re getting here – meaning plenty of tennis gameplay. It features support for up to four players with singles and doubles.
Pricing for Arcade Archives VS. Tennis is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Fire Emblem Heroes – Tempest Trials+, Burden of Gifts, starts December 17 and The Pawns of Loki event live now

Fire Emblem Heroes is starting its next Tempest Trials+ on December 17 at 11:00pm PT. Clearing maps will give out rewards such as: a five star hero Felix (Icy Gift Giver), 50 Divine Codes (Ephemera 12), and two Sacred Seals (fortify Def/Res 1 and Mystic Boost 1). Also, bonus allies during this trial will get increased HP, stats, and earn double XP/SP in battle.
A summoning focus has gone live to correspond with the Tempest Trials+. It features the five star heroes: Bernadetta (Eternal Loner), Hilda (Idle Maiden), and Sanaki (Begnion’s Apostle). This will run until December 27, 2020 at 10:59pm PT.
Finally, The Pawns of Loki event is live now, which allows players to challenge the game of the gods with Forma. Exclusive rewards are given for succeeding, and the rounds will last 48 hours.
