GigaBash Ultraman

Major DLC has just landed in GigaBash, with the game teaming up with the sci-fi media franchise Ultraman. 

By purchasing the DLC, you’ll gain access to four new characters. Ultraman, Ultraman Tiga, Alien Baltan, and Camearra are included in the pack. All of these characters offer unique movesets and iconic abilities as seen on screen.

Farming Simulator Kids

Giants Software today announced, Farming Simulator Kids, a new game “to introduce the growing generation to the colorful and fun world of farming and blooming nature.” It will be available for Switch in Spring 2024.

Prison City

Original (8/4): Prison City is in development for Switch, Retroware and Programancer have confirmed. While it will initially appear on Steam this month, the goal is to have it ready for Nintendo’s console soon after that.

Prison City is a dystopian, action-packed side-scroller that has players taking on techno-terrorists. It comes with customizable gameplay and difficulty, a Boss Rush mode, and more.

Original: Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 3 will be hosting a new Splatfest, this time focused around people’s preferred method of greeting.

The choices for greetings are between a handshake, a fist bump, and a hug. Players will be able to weigh in starting from November 18 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET to November 20.

Hamster has announced Shorin’s Road as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. A worldwide release is planned for November 9, 2023.

An action game developed by Konami in 1985, Shorin’s Road stars Wang Pyou, who has mastered the phantom Shaolin Kung Fu, and has been captured by the Yamcha Gang who assassinated his master. The player’s goal is to escape from their hideout utilising martial arts as well as environmental objects.

Arcade Archives Shorin’s Road will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie was one of the biggest films of the year, and it provided a boost to Nintendo’s overall business. Details about this were provided as part of the company’s latest financial results.

Nintendo spoke about the movie’s success and how “sell-through of evergreen (Switch) titles related to Super Mario from April through September increased appreciably year-on-year.” The Big N’s mobile apps and merchandise saw an increase as well.

Even though Switch is coming up on its seventh anniversary in March – and entering its eighth year on the market – Nintendo won’t be abandoning the system anytime soon.

During its financial results briefing toady, the company said it “will continue to release new titles and content for Nintendo Switch without being bound by the traditional concept of the platform lifecycle.” The company highlighted titles that are on the way from both a first-party and third-party perspective.


Nintendo shared a couple of data points for Switch during its financial results briefing today.

The first thing to point out is that the total amount of Nintendo Switch Online members (combined with Expansion Pack) is at 38 million. The company also says the annual playing Switch users is at 117 million – up from 108 million.
