Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate

Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate previously released on Steam last year, but it’s now been announced that a console version is on the way with Switch getting the game next month. A release is scheduled for August 24, 2023.

Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate is a turn-based roguelike chess inspired game. The console version includes new visual flourishes, along with revised interfaces and a brand-new tutorial.

Erra: Exordium

Fair Pixel’s upcoming project Erra: Exordium will be made for Switch, it’s been confirmed. It will initially hit PC with consoles – including Nintendo’s platform – to follow later on.

Erra: Exordium is a 2D action adventure game with a Dieselpunk setting. Players will take on the role of a scientist who was able to cheat death and fight the rebellious army of mechatrons while exploring a world based on Sumerian-Akkadian mythology.

Whispike Survivors gameplay

New gameplay has arrived giving us a look at Whispike Survivors. This is a new title from Grimorio of Games and the studio’s Sword of the Necromancer spin-off.

Sephonie gameplay

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending July 23, 2023 has been released, and it includes initial data for Pikmin 4.

Nintendo’s latest Switch exclusive came in at #1. Compared to Pikmin 3 Deluxe, launch week sales are up 45 percent. However, boxed sales were a bit lower than what Fire Emblem Engage managed.

[Review] Cross Tails

The age old war between cats and dogs has never been more illustrated than what you see in Cross Tails. Two kingdoms at odds with one another in a deep-rooted hatred fueled by generations of animosity, the game’s narrative opens with the canine Kingdom of Ranverfurt and the feline Republic of Hidiq currently embroiled in a decade-long battle. With a third faction trying to drive things in their own direction, will we be able to solve the conflict and steer destiny in a peaceful direction, or will the people continue to suffer due to the interference?

Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition delayed

Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition has been delayed across all consoles, including Switch. The title will now launch later in 2023 on the system and not next week as previously announced.

Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition will still be appearing for PC on July 31, 2023. A reason for the delay on consoles was not provided.

RIN: The Last Child release date

RIN: The Last Child now has a release date across various platforms, including Switch. The title is due out on September 21, 2023 with Klabater handling publishing duties.

RIN: The Last Child was first announced in April 2022 and was planned for Q3 of that year. However, around a year ago, it was delayed to Q1 2023. The project ended up being pushed back once again, but we’re now only a couple of months away from launch.
