Circle Entertainment spotlight – Demon King Box
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 2 Comments
The next Circle Entertainment game we’re featuring on Nintendo Everything is “Demon King Box”. And this one is just a few days away! It’s coming out on August 21 – this Thursday – in North America, though 3DS owners in Europe will need to wait a couple of months longer.
Demon King Box offers a combination of real-time strategy and classic RPG gameplay. Players will gather demons and heroes to aid them on their quests. It’s also possible to gather demons by conquering them and researching minions. By “researching minions”, Circle means feeding, upgrading, and combining them.
Demon King Box will offer an expansive world with various locations. Circle has also included voice-over work for the various demon heroes, each of whom have unique personalities.
In terms of features, Demon King Box includes over 30 stages, achievements, a gallery, and even an English/Chinese language switch.
Look out for Demon King Box when it launches in North America on Thursday. Screenshots from the game can be found below.

More photos and details from the Hyrule Warriors art book
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
A whole bunch of additional images have emerged from the Japanese Hyrule Warriors art book. You can find the latest shots in the gallery above.
Along with photos, we’ve translated some of the more interesting bits from the art book.
First, here’s what was said about Link’s design:
We had many different ideas for the concept “Link running around the battlefield”. For example, we considered Japanese style armor and heavy armor, but in order to make dashing around the plains look pretty, we decided on the simple design with a blue scarf. This scarf can be worn only by a person who leads Hyrule’s royal army, so it is a special proof of one’s worth.
And Cia’s design:
Since Cia is Lana’s polar opposite with her evil heart, her main colors are also the opposite of that of Lana. By having noble metals on her sexy body, Cia’s greedy nature was expressed visually.
Lastly, Impa’s design:
In this game, in order to strengthen the Japanese style look of the Sheikah tribe, Japanese style armor was taken as one motif. Design’s details took some inspiration from Impa in Skyward Sword as well.
That’s not all from the art book. Head past the break for information about weapons and a few more story bits. I know some people tend to be very sensitive about spoiler-like information, so keep that in mind before continuing on below!

Nintendo has since weighed in on Williams’ passing as well as the petition as a whole. A representative told Polygon in a statement:

Night Trap ReVamped team decides to leave the past behind, applying to become Wii U dev/publisher
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 13 Comments
The team behind Night Trap ReVamped seemed dead set against bringing their game to Wii U. In the explanation, it was said that there was “too much bad blood” with Nintendo based on events that took place two decades ago.
Given fan feedback though, it now seems that the folks behind Night Trap ReVamped have now reconsidered the situation. And, believe it or not, they’re applying to become Wii U developers and publishers.
Here’s an excerpt from today’s Kickstarter post:
