May 28: A new trailer has just come in for Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV. As of now it’s only available in Japanese, but typically an English version goes live later.
While we did previously see Super Mario Party Jamboree on Nintendo Switch, it’s now set for Switch 2 release later this year. New content and features are planned, many of which were revealed during a Nintendo Direct in April.

With Nintendo Switch 2 arriving in about a week, the Nintendo Switch App has gone live with a new version 3.0.1 update. This was previously known as the Nintendo Switch Online app for mobile.
Aside from the name change, Nintendo Switch 2 is now supported. There are also a couple of new friend features.

Best Buy has announced that they will be hosting GameTruck theaters in their parking lots for consumers to try out the Nintendo Switch 2. This will be taking place across Best Buys in the US on June 7, 14, and 21.
By stopping by a GameTruck theater, you’ll have an opportunity to play Nintendo Switch 2 if you’ve yet to grab the system yourself. Limited units will be available to purchase as well. Aside from that, there’ll be giveaways and you can earn 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points by visiting.

Mudita Games shared the news today that for its next project Barda, a release is planned for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. It’s first coming to PC Early Access in October with the full launch to follow later on.
Barda is described as a solarpunk roguelike backpack survival game. The action is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the throes of reconstruction as a young adventurer sets out to lay his grandfather’s ashes atop a hostile, ever-changing mountain.

The initial lineup of participants for Summer Game Fest has been revealed, and it includes a surprising participant – that being Nintendo.
The Big N has typically been absent from the big summer show. However, it seems that Nintendo will have some sort of presence this time around. We’ll note that the Nintendo Switch 2 logo is specifically included in the lineup, so perhaps some sort of news will be shared pertaining to the new system next week.

2024: Brute Force is putting its upcoming project Paper Sky on Switch, the studio announced today. It’s on track to launch sometime in 2025.
Paper Sky is an open world adventure game set in a semi-open world. As the name implies, players control a paper plane as they fold, glide, and deliver their message.

Capcom is back with a new Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess trailer focusing on Otherworldy Venture. When the game launches on Nintendo Switch next week, it’ll come with this extra content.
According to Capcom, Otherworldy Venture takes place in the realm behind the Torii Gates. Players can expect a simplified day-night cycle as well as endless waves of fierce attacks from the Seethe, offering a challenging high-score attack mode.

Original: Another Nintendo Switch 2 leak has emerged, this time showing the actual device being turned on. While it’s small in the grand scheme of things, it’s actually the first time we’re able to see this.
Nintendo Switch 2, of course, has not officially launched. That won’t be happening until next Thursday, June 5. However, Russian Telegram channel Pops & Culture appears to have received a unit early somehow – likely through some sort of retailer leak.
