Switch eShop

Liberated

Publisher Walkabout Games and developer Atomic Wolf have announced that Liberated, the hand-drawn comic adventure shooter, is coming to Switch next month. The title is slated for June 2 as an eShop download.

Digital Cybercherries recently issued a new update for Hypercharge: Unboxed. It fixed Buildmode skipping (now a majority rule to skip) and added support for French, Spanish, and German language options.

Hypercharge: Unboxed has a bunch of content upcoming in the future such as new modes and maps. However, due to the coronavirus, Digital Cybercherries says its roadmap “is months behind schedule.” The studio hopes “things will resume to normal soon.”

Hypercharge: Unboxed is currently available on the Switch eShop. We have a look at future content for the game here.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

It’s been just over a week since Megabyte Punch, Team Reptile’s beat ’em up game, was added to the Switch eShop. Everything with its release seemed to have gone well, but a new issue has cropped up. The developer has gotten in touch to inform us that Megabyte Punch is currently unavailable in certain regions.

Those interested in Megabyte Punch can grab it from the North American eShop. However, the same can’t be same of Europe and Australia. It’s nowhere to be found, and Team Reptile has no idea at present why it’s been taken down. The team did reach out to Nintendo, but has not received a response thus far.

Team Reptile shared the following in a statement:

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix review

System: Switch
Release date: May 14, 2020
Developer: SEGA
Publisher: SEGA

The world’s favorite vocaloid superstar finally makes her long-awaited Switch debut with Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix, bringing along a from-the-ground-up experience where you can attend and play through your own personal concerts at home and on the go. Other Crypton mascots Meiko, Kagamine Rin/Ren, Kaito and Megurine Luka are also included with over 100 songs and a myriad of outfits for you to choose from and customize. Long time fans of the series will recognize favorites like LOL -lots of laugh- and The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku as they go through a catered track list throughout her discography tapping into just about every genre imaginable, from rock ballads to pop, dance, jazz, and more. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix is a celebration of vocaloid culture and music, with tons of beautiful music videos accompanying the songs as button prompts fly from all sides of the screen, and the experience is only really hindered by long loading times and low resolution that degrades its otherwise stunning look.
