Everspace, an action space shooter that also features roguelike elements, will be released on Switch. Rockfish CEO and co-founder Michael Schade confirmed the news in an interview with Wccftech.

Speaking about the company’s plans for Switch, Schade said:

Mad Mimic uploaded the next entries in its new developer diary series for No Heroes Here. This time around, the programmers talk about creating a prototype, turning it on the final product, and how it is to program an online game as well as the importance of playtests for game balance. Check out the dev diaries below.

Outlast - Nintendo Switch

The popular survival psychological game Outlast recently landed on Switch. Its sequel, Outlast 2, also arrives later this month.

Bringing both of these titles to Switch looks to have gone very well for developer Red Barrels. On his LinkedIn profile, programmer Mathieu Gauthier indicates that Outlast 1 and 2 were ported “from scratch” in just “a matter of weeks”.

The first entry in the Toki Tori series is making its way to Switch. Even better, it’s just a few days away.

Nintendo’s North American website lists Toki Tori for March 16. Pricing is set at $4.99. Along with HD Rumble, video capture will be supported.

We have more information about Toki Tori below.

Last month, we heard that Oh… Sir! The Hollywood Roast had been pulled from the North American Switch eShop. Now Good Shephard Entertainment has clarified why.

As we’ve seen with a few titles in the past, the game’s removal can be attributed to a ratings update.Good Shephard Entertainment confirmed on Twitter:

It’s been over a month since Oh… Sir! The Hollywood Roast was removed, so we assume it won’t be much longer until it returns.

Undertale, a massively successful RPG from Toby Fox, was announced for Switch during this week’s Nintendo Direct. The reveal was very short though, and we only heard that it would be released “eventually”.

If you had any concerns about Undertale missing a 2018 launch on Switch, you don’t have to worry any longer. We now have confirmation that it’s arriving sometime this year. It’s far from a specific release window, but it’s certainly better than “eventually”.

We originally thought that VA-11 HALL-A would be coming to Switch around a year ago. That didn’t happen in the end, though it looks like a port is now going to happen after all.

Kiririn51, artist and designer at Sukeban Games, has indicated that plans for a Switch version are in motion. The following details were shared:

Kona, a game about survival, exploration, and investigation, made an unexpected appearance on the Switch eShop yesterday. Get a look at some footage below.

In the past year, City Connection has revitalized the Soldam and Penguin Wars series. The company now appears to be bringing back another classic IP: Psyvariar.

In an announcement covering this week’s news from the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo Hong Kong also includes a release schedule. “Psyvariar Restoration” is one of the titles listed. It’s on track for a July launch, though it should be released in other territories as well.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any details about Psyvariar Restoration just yet. The game originally debuted on arcades way back in 2000 (with other enhanced versions following later, including a new mobile version called Psyvariar Reassemble a couple of years ago) and featured vertical shooter gameplay. We’ll keep you updated on any news regarding Psyvariar Restoration in the future.
