Hamster has announced Burning Force as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. A worldwide release is planned for October 26, 2023.

A shooter game released by Bandai Namco Entertainment in 1989, in Burning Force you can operate either an air bike or airplane as you progress through each stage to defeat the boss at the end. Along the way you can collect items to power up, and bypass obstacles using platforms.

Arcade Archives Burning Force will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Star Wars Dark Forces Remaster release date

Today, Nightdive Studios announced a final release date for Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster. The game heads to Switch on February 28, 2024.

Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster was first revealed back in August. Nightdive was originally planning on having it ready to go for this year, but it’s been bumped to early 2024.

Here’s some information about the game:

Composer World

Dynamic Voltage Games has announced that its new project Composer World will be released on Switch. It will be available tomorrow, October 25.

Composer World lets users write music with hundreds of sounds, including ones reminiscint of the NES, Super NES, and SEGA Genesis eras. It’s possible to share creations online – without a Nintendo Switch Online subscription – and future updates are planned that will add more features.

Temtem update 1.5.1

Another update has gone live for Temtem, and the game is now at version 1.5.1.

Much of the update involves balance adjustments and fixes. On top of that Ignoramus Cloack is no longer a unique item and a couple of improvements have been made.

Original (10/20): Suika Game, which has made waves in Japan on the Switch eShop this year, is now available on Switch worldwide – just without English support.

At first glance, this seems like something that’d easily pass by without much attention. And actually, that’s what happened with Suika Game when it first came to Switch at the end of 2021 in Japan. But after streamers and influences started spreading the word this year, it became a hit. As we previously reported, Suika Game was the best-selling game on the Japanese eShop in September.

Murder Is Game Over

Publisher Ratalaika Games and developer HitherYon Games will release Murder Is Game Over on Switch this week, the two sides announced today. Look for it on October 27, 2023.

Murder Is Game Over is a pixel-art point-and-click adventure game. Players will follow the journey of Detective Guy and his trusty sidekick Cleo the dog as they investigate the mysterious death of a fabulously wealthy game designer.

Fusion Paradox

Today, publisher Sometimes You and developer Nikolai Usachev announced plans to bring Fusion Paradox to Switch. It will be available on November 1, 2023.

Fusion Paradox is a scrolling shooter and action roguelike game in which players are tasked with freeing the Agency from the forces and anomalies that have captured it. Further information can be found in the following overview:
