A few days ago, HullBreach Studios shared plans regarding a patch for Defense Dome over on Miiverse.

The update will add a few new elements in addition to a bug fix. Players will be able to use an EMP power-up to blow up all missiles on the screen at once, go through Blitz mode for each level, and read up on more story elements. HullBreach Studios is also gauging feedback for ideas such as DLC.

Legendary Bros has announced that its new Wii U game, 8 Bit Hero: The Final Knight, is coming to the Wii U eShop in Q4 of this year.

8 Bit Hero is an action-adventure game that has players traveling to the Witch of Nameless Souls’ layer. You’ll explore eight locations that are comprised of 3D environments with 8-bit graphics, and defeat enemies along the way. Three difficulty modes are also included.

Today, Shin’en announced that Jack Merluzzi will be providing voice acting FAST Racing Neo. Merluzzi is the announcer for tracks and vehicles within the game, and you’ll also hear him when a race is finished as well as some other instances.

Merluzzi previously worked on F-Zero GX, the Tekken series, and Ace Combat franchise. His full listing of past contributions can be found here.

Natsume brought a couple of GBA titles to the Wii U Virtual Console this month. The company’s next offering, Pocky & Rocky with Becky, is now confirmed for October. This release will be in both North America and Europe. Other Natsume GBA games will continue to roll out, “including the much-requested Medabots titles”.

Natsume also shared an interesting tease in its latest “State of the Farm” blog post. The publisher appears to be teasing a “surprise announcement”, though it isn’t clear if it’s Nintendo-related.

“We’re looking forward to an exciting winter with more Harvest Moon news and perhaps even a surprise announcement…”
