Wii U eShop

A new trailer for Shutshimi has come online today. We’ve gone ahead and attached the video below.

Update: Freedom Planet has now been taken down from the eShop. Nintendo took care of things rather quickly!

Freedom Planet can currently be purchased on the North American Wii U eShop. However, as you may recall, GalaxyTrail said that the game would be delayed for a third time a few days ago due to technical issues that still have not been eliminated. Basically, someone messed up big time!

If you do decide to purchase Freedom Planet, keep in mind that your console may experience freezing issues. It also looks like the Nindies@Home discount is not being applied. That’s another sign of Freedom Planet going up earlier than planned.

Thanks to Jake R for the tip.

Following its release in North America back in May, Stone Shire will arriving in Europe next week. Finger Gun Games is releasing its Wii U eShop title on August 27. Pricing is set at €7.99.

It turns out that not one, but two Virtual Consoles games are scheduled for the North American Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow. In addition to Advance Wars 2, the eShop will also be getting Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Grey Wolf. Pricing is set at $7.99.

If you’re unfamiliar with Genghis Khan II, take a look at the game summary below.

In Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf, unite the scattered Mongol tribes under your banner and conquer the world as Genghis Khan. Choose from two riveting scenarios: Mongolia and all of Eurasia. It is up to you to take your fledgling empire from your humble beginnings on the Mongolian plateau and expand your borders across the land! As your rivals look enviously upon your domain, you must struggle to weather the assaults of your opponents and carve out a living for your people. Engage in diplomacy to forge alliances, and organize your troops to defend the prosperity of your empire! If you can manage to spread the borders of your empire to the corners of the world, all will pay homage to your might!

Curve Digital will be bringing The Swindle to the European Wii U eShop on September 10, according to a listing on Nintendo’s UK website. Note that the company has not technically announced this date. When Curve officially announces the news, we’ll probably be hearing about when it’s coming to North America as well (perhaps the same day).

Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut is finally making its way to Wii U next week. Nintendo’s UK site lists the game for release on August 27. We don’t have confirmation yet, but there’s a good chance that Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut will be available in North America next week as well.
