Nintendo Switch Online

Yesterday, a description on the back of the box of an upcoming Switch game in Japan made some people doubt whether or not the cloud saving feature of the upcoming Nintendo Switch Online service would work with all Switch games. Today, we can possibly shed a little light on that issue, though it’s nothing official yet.

The folks over at Nintendo Life reached out to a source of theirs, presumably someone working at a developer or publisher, and asked them about the cloud saving feature. Here’s what the source had to say:

The soundtrack for Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu! & Let’s Go Eevee! will be released on CD in Japan on December 1st. This release comes with two discs containing the soundrack of the Let’s Go games, a 60-page full-color booklet as well as an additional bonus disc with remixed music from Pokemon Red, Green and Yellow. The soundtrack will cost 3,500 Yen.

No Western release has been confirmed so far, though there’s a good chance this will at least get a digital release in the West, as was the case with some previous Pokemon soundtracks.

A listing for a game called “Puyo Puyo e Sports” for Nintendo Switch has popped up on the website of the Korean Game Rating Board. Usually, a listing such as this indicated that a game is at least somewhat close to release in that region.

However, unlike in most previous cases where such ratings appeared for ports or localizations of already existing games, this seems to be a listing of a brand new game. Perhaps this was supposed to be another announcement in the delayed Nintendo Direct? Either way, hopefully we’ll learn more about this apparent new Puyo Puyo game soon.
