Shovel Knight file size

Shovel Knight is almost here. In just over a week’s time, Wii U and 3DS owners in North America will finally be able to get their hands on the game.

Thankfully, Shovel Knight doesn’t take up too much space. The download only clocks in at 184MB on Wii U, with the actual size coming in at 158MB once installed. And on 3DS, Shovel Knight only takes up 1,217 blocks on an SD card.

From Nothing Game Studios is currently wrapping up work on GravBlocks+. The game will be available sometime this summer.

GravBlocks+ is a match-3 game that has players switching gravity to maximize combos and avoid environmental dangers. It was originally released for smart devices as GravBlocks, though the Wii U version features “a rebuilt engine, new graphics, a new story mode, extra accomplishments, 50 more puzzle stages, and GamePad-centered gameplay with easy on-the-fly switching between touchscreen and controller input”.

You can find a trailer for GravBlocks+ above.

ZeNfA Productions shared today’s news on Twitter, writing:

Zen Studios hasn’t done too much with Wii U as of late. For example, the company announced a new Deadpool table today for Zen Pinball 2 (and its other pinball platforms), though Wii U wasn’t mentioned among the supported systems.

Despite the lack of Wii U news, Zen Studios says it hasn’t dropped its support for the console.

Community manager Bobby Loertscher wrote on the company’s forums:

We have not dropped support for the Wii U, we are going to try to get more content out to you guys. I will post when I have more firm details on what and when
