Wii U

For the release of Sonic Lost World, SEGA is preparing two separate DX Packs in Japan.

The contents of the Wii U and 3DS versions are mostly the same. Each comes with a copy of the game, as well as a tote bag and hand-painted mug (different designs for Wii U and 3DS). You can get a look at the physical items in the gallery above.

Pricing is set at 8,589 yen for the Wii U DX Pack and 6,489 yen for the 3DS DX Pack.


Just how successful has the Pokemon franchise been? Since Pokemon Red/Blue’s release in 1996, 172,000,000 units have been sold around the world, according to the Pokemon Company. Quite an impressive figure!

Capcom has opened the official website for Monster Hunter Frontier G. Access it here. Visitors can view a whole bunch of screenshots as well as a few videos.

Warner Bros. has plans to reveal something “epic” for Batman: Arkham Origins next week. That’s according to the game’s official Twitter account, which tweeted yesterday:


Gamescom 2013 is coming up next week, so Warner Bros. likely has something big in store. You can probably expect a new trailer alongside the big announcement.

Don’t count on any new Street Fighter game landing on Wii U anytime soon.

Yoshinori Ono, executive producer of the series, wrote on Twitter today that Capcom doesn’t have any current plans to bring the series to Nintendo’s console.

Some may say that the Wii U is on a similar path as the GameCube. Both consoles have sold comparably thus far. Nintendo has also struggled with its marketing efforts – another common element between the two.
